Excellent Mexican food. The number 2 rated restaurant next to the number 1 restaurant in Memphis. But why this should be #1: fast service, great food, excellent flavor, friendly people that give you a family atmosphere, that is very reasonably priced. Clean place. Canât say enough why this was place was sooo gooood.

i stopped in as I was driving through. I figured, its taco bell, how bad can it be right? Its a total war zone. filth and grime all over, the customers were no cleaner, I had to go elsewhere, it was so nasty i refused to eat there. I felt bad for the employees, it must have been a terrible place to work

We were driving into a huge thunderstorm as we approached our hotel in Memphis, so rather than get totally drenched, we decided to hop off a bit west and have dinner and let the storm pass over us. Pretty much at random, we ended up at Mi Pueblo - and had a very nice meal. My husband had a burrito, and I ordered the Tortilla Soup - my standard order at any Mexican restaurant I visit. This one was tasty and the portion size overall was huge, but maybe a little heavy on the tortilla strips. The servers and everyone overall were very friendly and nice; the restaurant was pretty deserted when we arrived around 8:00 p.m., so they had little to distract them from us. I used the ladies' room both at when we arrived and later, as we were heading back out in the to the wild - and I am happy to report that the "off" smell that I noticed on my initial visit was gone on my return trip. But best of all, we could take credit for two accomplishments that evening: enjoying a nice dinner and effectively dodging the thunder storm!

When we arrived, FOUR employees were outside the building. A couple of them slowly filed in as we entered the building. Terrible food greasy taco meat that soaked the tostada shell.They were out of hard and soft taco shells! How does a TB not have taco shells?When I asked to substitute beans for meat on my taco salad, the woman preparing the food seemed irritated. There mustâve been less than a teaspoon of beans, much less than the regular amount that comes on it (and no extra to substitute for the meat). When I asked her to add some, she gave me attitude and a tiny salsa cup with a minuscule amount of beans. The menâs bathroom had a vile and overwhelming smell of âurine meets sulphurâ.Overall, the place was unclean. The cashier was the only one who seemed friendly and helpful.We often stop at TB when traveling but I may have to rethink that. I definitely wonât be back to this one.

Passing through West Memphis, we liked the souls of Mexican cuisine for our supper this evening. We were not disappointed!! The chips were crisp and fresh, out drinks were prepared just as we ask, the guacamole was outstanding and our vegetarian fajitas were the best we have ever experienced with so much broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms instead of all green peppers! We would highly recommend

I had chicken enchilada, my husband had a burrito, sorry! I don't remember which one, both were delicious. Excellent service, clean dining area. there is an inviting patio dining area also. Can't go wrong, we will be back when visiting family in the area.
