First time in a Chilis in a long time, and menu had totally changed. That's OK. I ordered the loaded boneless chicken wings. This was just way too salty and the flavor was not enjoyable (I had the mild sauce). The portion was large, but if you don't like it that doesn't help since I threw about half of it away. There were no napkins at the table and had to ask the server for some. Perhaps some of the other items are better, but based on this one, I have no reason to go back.

It's been a while since we've eaten there after church. Per the manager, the brunch set-up was changed about 6 months ago. Last I recall, the price was about $14/person. News flash: The price is now $23.99 per person! (OUCH!) In my opinion, that's a bit over the top for breakfast. They do have a wider selection than before and the food is just as good. If it's within your budget, enjoy.

We went in after 1pm on a Sunday, so missed breakfast and the "free 1 hour" mimosas (a great deal). But the food was better than I remembered from the old location, and the drinks were excellent.

El Gringo was my first LA cuisine experience, and since then it's taken off with numerous locations across the LA area. I felt that the service was incredibly attentive, on point, and welcoming. The options for food were quite expansive, and chips were bottomless. El Gringo is a great place for family and friend outings, solo meals, or even small parties. An ice cold beer boosts any meal, and you'll be satisfied with whatever you order. My only quip, and I'm not sure if it was just an off day, or this location in general, but I felt that the tacos were simply just okay. They seemed to be overloaded with lettuce, too big, and not incredibly flavorful. I'd love to try El Gringo again just to hope for better results, since now there's a new location in El Segundo that seems to be popping. All in all El Gringo serves up a solid, fun, and tasty experience.

I was pleasantly surprised while grabbing a quick lunch here with my family. I was in town visiting my son and daughter-in-law and we met him her on his break from work. The food was very good and very fresh. The young man at the register was pleasant and excused my lack of familiarity with the menu and the process with good humor (as did the patrons behind me - I don't speak Starbucks). It was quick and very reasonably priced. I especially liked the fresh, not canned, queso and the white meat chicken. Everything was just wonderful.

I do not mean any disrespect. But if you have been out for all night "banger", there is nothing better than a big greasy meal at Sion to help get through the morning. Along with a mimosa, beer, or bloody margarita. The food makes you say, "ok, now i can go lay down".Also great local spot for lunch. We love it there

We got such a warm welcome into this spotlessly clean family restaurant, it felt like we were entering the home of a seldom seen relative. Salsa is fresh and tasty and definitely didn't come out of a can. Taco's were delicious and generously filled and the house margaritas hit the spot. We will definitely be back!

Tremendous consistent flavors. Inexpensive. Great carnitas, chunky beef in fabulous red chili. Very crowded by beach bot lots of "atmospbete"! Bigger facility at 2nd and PCH also in Manhattan Beach,, easier parking, m9re room, same great food. Quesadilla with guac is a winner to start.... super deluxe burrito for the BIG appetite.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, award-winning margaritas, world-class service and nightly entertainment.
Commercial and prepared foods are the main courses. Most meals tend to appear cookie cutter prepared. Plenty of the fillers I.e. beans and rice and lots of tortillas...always crowded...we prefer the small town authentic Mexican restaurants.. too big and trendy for my taste. Good margaritas and a great bar scene if thatâs your thing
