I'm always hesitant to throw the work "Great" around like many people do. "Authentic" is another word I see often regarding Mexican restaurants.I've been to several local Mexican restaurants and this is a good one...not great...hard to say authentic. The menu is small but sufficient. There were 3 of us and each ordered a different dish.My wife said the fajitas were the best she's had locally. My daughter only orders enchiladas and wanted 2 chicken, one cheese. Had to order all 3 the same and she ordered the chicken. She wasn't thrilled with her meal but she basically prefers them to be 'cheesier'. I tasted hers and actually preferred the enchiladas over my meal, a beef burrito.I found the burrito to be very bland plus an up-charge for beef seemed unnecessary but not a big deal. If we go back I'd order the enchiladas. The BYOB is a always a nice feature but the meal, compared to other Mexican restaurants wasn't inexpensive.

In general, the food is good.......a step up from Taco Bell, but not as good as On The Border. Serving sizes are more than ample but the chips and salsa were disappointing. And be careful. Their daily specials, like taco Tuesday, only apply at the bar area and if you order outside of the bar the waitress will not tell you that the special is only good in a specific area. There is just a surprise when the bill comes. Then I checked the menu. In small letters on the menu it states that it is only good in the bar. I am sure that I am not the only dummy that missed it.
Dined in the other night. First time here. Park on the left in their lot or on the street. Well-lit restaurant. -you'll be able to see your food. The menu has a ton to offer but don't confuse Paella's with a typical road-side diner where they have 400 items on the menu and they don't specialize in anything. -The menu is easy to read and only two pages is what I'm saying. They have one alcoholic drink on the menu I don't remember what kind. Chips and a very tomatoee flavored salsa came out first. Flavors are nice, nothing overpowering. Fried calamari after a few minutes was hot and lightly fried.-see pic. Red sauce was also hot and fresh. There was enough for two. Salmon in lemon sauce was next. The entire dish was steaming hot when it arrived. -see pic. Fresh steamed veggies that snapped, huge portion of yellow rice and a nice size piece of fish. The lemon sauce wasn't too overpowering and was nice and hot up until the end. Since all the dishes I'm assuming are homemade, your main course will take a bit. This is fine, this isn't a chain. The seltzer water was ice cold and I got two lemon wedges instead of just one. Thank you! Music in the background, Spanish CNN and it's all good. Be sure to compliment the awesome chef. I'd gain 200lbs and go broke if I lived in the area. Paella's delivers, they cater and theyâre open six days a week. I'll be back. Excellent dinner!
