We enjoyed La Carreta in Londonderry quite a bit. They have done a lovely job of redecorating the old Whippersnappers and converting it into an extremely nice establishment - everything from the tiling to the light fixtures is redone and the decor is just great. The food is also excellent and you could close your eyes and not know if you were in Derry or Londonderry or Manchester. I would definitely go here again.

So happy to find a La Carreta from the same family as Nashua. This location is fresh and well designed. The food is just as good as their Nashua restaurant. Thereâs no lunch specials on Sundays but thatâs ok. Grilled fish tacos were loaded with so much fish that I took 2 of the 3 tacos home. Of course filling up on their warm chips and salsa didnât help!

When this location first opened it was an excellent restaurant and we have visited there many times. In recent years it seems to me there has been a steady downhill slide of food quality and preparation. The most recent visit ended my desire to ever return. The part of the entire meal was the basket of chips and salsa. The dinner plates lacked flavor and quality. The mains were served without mention of the thermo nuclear temperature of the plates they sit on. We all touched them and we all burned our hands. That's totally unacceptable as it tells me this is just cold, previously prepared, reheated food. The rice even had the burnt crust on the top. The beans were a soupy tasteless mess. Even worse, the ground beef in my taco's was not completely cooked. To add insult to injury we all experienced abdominal distress for the rest of the evening. What happened to the quality of food and presentation of the past? There are plenty of good restaurants in the area and no reason to patronize this one again.
