Things to do in Lexington
This is a casual place, great for parents & grandparents to take children or grandchildren or friends. Wings are very good; the side salad with sugared pecan pieces on it is very good. We remember our last waitress, Katie Walker, as being smiling & helpful. This is becoming a regular stop for us!

This is another Lexington jewel that you will miss if you're not on the look out for it! I've lived here for years and had never eaten here until my date pointed it out. It's right beside the Pastime Pavilion theater down the side street. The service was quick, and the Strawberry Margarita was tasty! I ordered a combo with a quesadilla, burrito, and rice, and it was all very good! The restroom was clean, too! (That's a biggie with me!) Of course, a meal is much more appetizing with good company, and my date was a five star, too! I'll keep you posted! :)

We visited based on the Trip Advisor recommendation: this was the first faulty recommendation I've had.The food was bland, not even salt as a basic ingredient. We had fajitas, rice, beans, nachos & chimichangas. The consensus for all family members was the same: bland mushy food. The shrimp fajitas were boiled shrimp. The one positive was the onions and green peppers were crisp. The "7" in 7 Mares does NOT mean perfection- far from it.

Resurrection by same owner of former One Taco Two Tacos which had closed
Twice we went out of our way to try this new place. 1st time internet down & couldn't take our orders, gave us a couple free drinks with apology. Things happen so we went back. Tiny place, very long bar. Food choice is very limited, if you don't like taco's don't go. If your menu is all about Mexican & specialty tacos make sure they are amazing. They weren't. I was so disappointed. I really wanted to love this place. No reason for us to go back, food was very average and I went home still a little hungry. Seemed to have a large beer selection so maybe go there for drinks and the food won't matter.

Happened upon this place when returning from Charleston. The exterior is not all that impressive but inside the decor is very impressive. The food and service were very good but the many item salsa bar is an excellent feature.

Lunch stop on Saturday. Not busy. Ordered and received food very quickly. The restaurant dint get too busy-and out waitstaff were very attentive with drinks and refills.Hot things served HOT and cold things served COLD-perfect!Shrimp taco salad was excellent. The lettuce fresh crisp and not wilted. The shrimp very tasty. Everything was great on the top, the bottom of the salad was a little soupy with the juice, melted cheese and beans. But by the time you reach the bottom, you are too full to worry about the soup part because you canât eat another bite.Hubs ordered shrimp tacos. Said they were terrific-he has never had shrimp tacos before. He is quite the expert on shrimp (Louisiana living!). So when he says the shrimp were delish-they were.

A friend and a I visited Salsarita's today for lunch. We were immediately greeted at the front door and once in the restaurant line the friendly, courteous staff were helpful. The ingredients were fresh and many options were available. I selected the 2 taco combo which came with chips and I opted for quacamole. I had one chicken and one ground beef taco and was able to select my own ingredients. Their chips were so light and tasty. I really enjoyedthe entire dining experience.

My wife and I wanted to have a date luncheon. This restaurant moved from about a mile down the street a while ago. Somethings have and not for the betterment of the consumer. We purchased cheeses which was runny. When we inquired the waitress gave us an excuse instead of fixing the problem. The food was average at best. The rice had corn, beans and peas. This isn't the same restaurant we went to.
