Located on the border between Mexico and the U.S., on U.S. I-35 and Mexican Federal Highway 85, Laredo is America's largest inland port and one of the oldest border crossing points. Cosmos Bar & Grill in Laredo, Texas stays on top of all the cutting edge trends while maintaining a traditional menu. Our style is creative, innovative and provides a fun atmosphere.
Not a good place for a vegan but my husband had the Ahi Tuna salad and said it was the best he had ever had. We were there on Mother's Day and they gave each mother which was very nice. One issue, there were 10 of us and 9 got their food and the last one took another 10 minutes. That should never happen. But, everyone enjoyed their meals and cocktails.

These restaurants used to be the best deal in town! Now itâs just average. Food is just as good but much less served as far as servings. Prices have also gone up quite significantly. They are popular because there are so many in town, but there are better choices now. For a convenient meal, go for it, nothing special anymore.

Inspired by disciplines that enhance and strengthen the human development; the concept of the Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian cuisine was introduced by El Nuevo Sol to Nuevo Laredo in northern Mexico over 30 years ago. Now, in the US as El Quinto Sol, we bring the b
So excited (and a little surprised) to find an all vegetarian restaurant in Laredo. It's sort of fast food looking, but it's a sit down, and someone will take your order and bring food to your table. We hadn't been there, the waitress offered us a sample of all of the drinks. We got a cold camomile cinnamon drink. I got enchiladas suizas, my wife got tacos al pastor. We both needed to ask for no cheese or sour cream. Didn't have any issues. Food was delicious. Service was great. Wish we had this chain in Indiana. Great vegetarian and vegan Mexican food in southern Texas. Awesome!

I ordered the huevos rancheras, and my wife ordered the chilaquilles. Everything was delicious. "Real" Mexican? Somewhat. But remember, this is a chain restaurant that caters many different people. Ours was probably pretty close to an authentic Mexican breakfast, while the burgers and country fried steak are definitely "American" creations. At any rate, the food was good and we would definitely come back.

You'll only need one more meal all day after the buffet breakfast at the Zaragoza Grill. Each day is a different variation on the menu but each of the four days we were there included eggs, potatoes, toast, cereal, juice and coffee or tea.

Despite the fact the girl could not speak English and I had a few gluten free options to ask about, she got help and my issues were addressed. The corn soft taco was absolutely delicious chicken and so was the beef. For a small Mexican no nonsense restaurant this was great!

Don't be intimidated by walking in this small restaurant just off the San Agustin Plaza on Grant Street. No signage outside. This is a family ran restaurant, with daughters, nieces & nephews working here. We walked in & said we were referred here by the Texas State park employees. Our waitress was so friendly, told us her parents own it. Her mom is in early supervising food preparations for the day, the daughters run the day to day operations & their her dad stops in for the afternoon crowd. We actually met him as well. Our waitress showed us & explained the entries as she was delivering them to the other tables. I selected one of their Lenten special. An avocado stuffed with shrimp & avocado salad, served with delicious rice & potato salad. My husband had their cheese chili relleno plate with beans, shredded lettuce, tomato & a spaghetti soup (delicious). We definitely would return again. It looked like they do a big to-go business as well. On the wall was a picture of all the grandchildren dressed for the Day of the Dead.

Fast service, great food and low prices. This is a great place for Mexican food on the cheap. Lots of choices, though we found the order taker didnât speak much English, so it was a challenge ordering. Not that it would stop us from returning. Thank you for sharing your review! We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to have you back soon! Your feedback is noted, come and enjoy our Mexican food!

At El Capataz, the focus is on creating a new approach to casual dining by incorporating flavors with Latin flair.
I have been to Capataz on many occasions. The food is consistently good, the staff is great, and they always have a great local beer selection. You have to try their orange, tamarind, bacon wings. These things are probably the best wings I've ever had.
