This is one of my favorite places in town. I loved the Rusas and the Marranadas. If you are a snack lover from Mexico this is your place. If you love fruit with spicy and lemon, this is your place. If you are looking for a quesadilla, this is your place. It's a small place but it's super clean and the food is awesome.
I grew up in Kingsville, Texas and remember when Casa de a Tacos opened. As a little girl, my mom would come pick me up at school on Wednesdays and we would go for " taco plate day". Everything on their menu was excellent. As a grown women, now almost 49 years old, I have dreams about Casa de Tacos. I know this sounds silly, but it was such a part of my growing up years. Although I moved away from Kingsville 27 years ago, the first place I eat when "home" is Casa de Tacos. Give them a try, and who knows, maybe they'll end up in your dreams too!
Small Taqueria at the corner of 14th and Armstrong. Parking is tight. There are tables and a walk up window. We generally order ahead and pick up at the window. They serve very good Jalisco Mexican food, the prices are very good and the servings are quite generous. The staff is efficient and friendly. This is a very small place, not fancy at all but the food is great. They do have specials on the board inside. I have enjoyed every meal I've had here. We regularly phone ahead and get the barbacoa to go, they have always gotten the order correct. It is very popular with the locals and I'm surprised the University students have not discovered it yet. When my son visits, this is one of his first meals.
American and Mexican cuisine. Daily Lunch specials and Happy Hour. Full bar, 20 beers on tap, and an open game room. Open until midnight. Wednesday night Pud Trivia, Thursday night Karaoke, Friday and Saturday Live DJ, Paper Chase.
This restaurant opened in April, and I have been here twice with consistent results. Personally, I find that I enjoy patronizing establishments that treat me like they know me; like they know I will be back to visit in a week or so and want to make my visit a happy one. In my many years of enjoying eating and drinking out around the globe, I have come to the conclusion that my best experiences are not only where there is good fare and libations, but where I am treated like a regular. Green Jay is one of those placesMy server, Ben asked me questions about what I was wanting to eat and drink. He shared information about the things he thought would please me. He brought chips and salsa that were delicious with a Sierra Nevada Summerfest draught. He did not rush me, but would have gladly- had I been in a hurry. He brought me another beer and when I told him I was ready to order he suggested the Chicken Fried Steak with Country Gravy. The food was hot and tasty. While I am not an aficionado of Chicken Fried Steak, it was softer than what I expected and not greasy. The meat had a definite beef flavor and was not over-breaded or oily, as many are. The gravy was a quintessential white gravy with a hint of mild black pepper and no clumpiness. It was accompanied with a side salad, Texas Toast, and steak fries and more than enough for even big eaters. The owner stopped by my table to ask how things were and if I needed another beer. Neither he, nor the server were pushy nor intrusive as I watched several ball games on the tvs. Both stopped by multiple times to check that I was happy with my dinner and service and chatted like we were old friends. There is even a pool table and darts if one is in the mood after a meal and plenty of space for large parties. I like this place- and again, I won't hesitate to return, wherever I am treated well.

Great Chili's location. Clean, Big, Great Service. Well prepared and flavorful food at a great price! Ate her twice when we were in town!
Supposedly this is the best breakfast in Kingsville. If so, I may be going to Ihop the next few days....The Migas ala mexicana was decent, but by far not the best I've had. Good coffee. Good potatoes with the Migas...but the refried beans looked totally disgusting! ! Both my wife and I didnt even try it!I wont be back for breakfast, but we might try a lunch....maybe.

We stopped in at Kingsville for a late lunch the day after Christmas. We ordered the Jalisco Quesadilla. We got our order in quickly with our waitress but the kithen was very slow. If we weren't hungry we would have walked out, but the food finally arrived. It was vey tasty. The place wasn't all that busy so we will chalk up the big delay to not having adequate staff right after Christmas

We stopped for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. Breakfast is normally served until 11am, but they extend the hours to noon on Sundays. The food came out quick and was fairly inexpensive. It's Mexican inspired, so most breakfast dishes are served with refried beans or tortillas. Nice selection and the food was great.

Having read all the reviews of this Mexican restaurant we had high hopes for a great authentic Mexican meal and finding a good restaurant in Kingsville Texas posed challenging. Service was efficient and prices were reasonable. Portions were large and food was average.

I got the chicken fajitas. It came with only two tortillas. Hubby got the large chicken quesadilla. It was cut in threes. He ate two and took one home. The food was good. The waitress was efficient. The place was clean.
