Owners Jesus Magaña and his wife Lulis were born in the states of Michoacan and Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to Monroe. They opened their first restaurant, Mi Tierra in February 2001. The restaurant has earned it's way into the heart of locals and visitors
This is a great option for a good meal at a reasonable price. Menu options are plentiful and include some really delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Our service was terrific - attentive without being intrusive -- food was delivered promptly and everyone was pleased with their meal. All that without breaking the bank!

Mexican restaurant located on Bothell Way Northeast in Bothell, Washington. Serving delicious Mexican Food, and providing great customer service is our top priority. Our menu features fresh tortillas, guacamole made fresh daily using only fresh avocados,
I went with a group of 12 work colleagues for dinner - reservations made ahead of hand. We arrived to a preconfigured table (good start) and it went downhill from there. The server was disinterested and the food was mediocre. Folks got the wrong, or no, food, and the server was not available for drink refills. That $400 check will be the last $400 we spend at Poquitos.

I am surprised at how many reviewers gave Gallo de Oro a 4 rating after saying they loved it and either had eaten there several times or would, or even would eat there ALL the time if possible. Maybe it's the lack of decor. This is a down-home family-run unobtrusive little place. I am not rating for decor but for food and service: outstanding! My husband and I went there on a fluke, without looking at recommendations and never having heard of the place. We just wanted to grab something to eat before a local concert started. The complimentary chips with house-made salsas were crisp and fresh, the service was prompt and attentive. We each ordered a soup, Tortilla Soup and Albondigas Soup. Both were flavorful and served in generous portions. My Albondigas soup had wonderful large meatballs and large chunks of potato, carrots, zucchini, perfectly cooked (al dente and full-flavored without being soggy from the soup). I just had a bowl of the leftovers which reminded me to write this review! Still yummy! There was also a little complimentary dessert-bite of tortilla chips with a whipped cream confection. Nice touch! The soups were $8 and $9 and, with a couple of soft drinks and tax, our total bill was $24.

I had high hopes after seeing where Las Espuelas ranked on Trip Advisor. Upon entering, I was impressed with the sunny, Mexican motif interior. With the average price of a meal pushing $20 I became curious to see if the food would match the pricing. Unfortunately, the food was exactly the same as every other American-Mexican restaurant. Your basic dry white rice with something making it reddish, sloppy refried beans with cheddar cheese and uninspired entrees. (Watch the Taco Chronicles on Netflix to see what a taco is in Mexico, and could be here.) The service was below average.I donât give negative reviews easily but if you are looking for inspired American-Mexican food, unfortunately, you wonât find it at Las Espuelas.

Our dinner was very good. I really enjoyed the two different salsas that were served with the chips. I would recommend the Tacos Dorados. Portion size was substantial and service was also very good and quite friendly, especially since they were packed!

Acapulco Fresh has been a chain of restaurants for several years, and as the years gone by, more and more have unfortunately closed down due to reasons not related to how the business was doing or the food. Acapulco Fresh in Kenmore is one of the last of its kind in Washington, and the business continues to thrive, and for good reason, too. The atmosphere is small and cozy, but filled with unique posters and nice furniture. The food is amazing, and comes out quickly after ordering. Acapulco Fresh has a wide variety of salsas, all of which are unique and tasty. From enchiladas to burritos, Acapulco Fresh hits it out of the park. I live fairly far away, and I drive 15-25 minutes every time I want come here, and I assure you, it's worth it, every single time.

Iâve lived here my whole life and sampled all the various Mexican restaurants around, this is by far the best tasting food Iâve had. Presentation was great, service was great. Exactly what you want in a Mexican restaurant. I will definitely be back.
