Things to do in Kalispell
A little of Austin found its way to Kalispell and it is much welcomed. All of the food is made with love and they are intent to serve the best version of food to their customers. Get the corn tortillas, they are homemade and there is no going back once you have these. They are fluffier than others but there is a sweetness from that Masa that makes it so much more tasty. You got a variety of meats and they are all flavorful. Carnitas are being perfected. The salsas have a nice kick to it and just adds another layer of flavor. Don't skip the rice and beans. The beans are creamy and the rice packs all kinds of notes of spices. It's cooked perfectly, nice and fluffy.Service is friendly and you will feel right at home. It's even better cause you don't have to do the dishes.

Service was very good, but the quality a food is just average. They offer standard options with refried beans and rice as sides. The fajitas are good.

The weather was very pleasant and we decided to eat outside on the deck. Unfortunately, the street traffic was extremely distracting. Chips and salsa were served, but our order of water and beverages were not. Also, we didn't get any silverware or napkins. We ordered our food, still nothing to wash down the chips or wipe the salsa from our lips. About 15 minutes later our beverages were served and shortly after that, our meals. The plates were full of beans and rice which were pretty bland. The shells of the crunchy tacos we ordered were the crunchy store-bought type like taco bell serves. Definitely not authentic. The chili relleno was a flat thin scrambled egg with barely a chili enclosed. It was the worst tasting chili relleno I've ever tasted. The prices are reasonable and the meals are large but certainly not satisfying.

I last reviewed this joint about 2 years ago.Lots of choices (salsas, meats, other garnishes) still, but skimpy servings unless you ask for more of this or that, and you are not supposed to be charged extra for more meat or guacamole or salsas. This is not fast food; it is a slow 'we build you a burrito' line. Communication is difficult. Difficult because the sneeze guards inhibit any kind of verbal exchange and the music is always too loud. Why do we have to shout?Avoid lunch hour on most days, the staff is just overwhelmed and can't keep up with supplying the line. If you want water, it comes through the computer generated spouts that all the other beverages (except iced tea) spew through. Often splashed with some kind of pink or orange Coke product. Yuck.Avoid the restrooms, they are not kept up and the floors are filthy. Ditto the layers of dust and grease on the architecture above the food line. Eww, gross.I would visit here more often if it were not for the underperformance of this restaurant.

I had a delicious chicken taco salad and the men had tacos and Ole fries. The food is made fresh with good ingredients.Terry greeted us in such a warm and gracious manner. He is good advertising for the friendliness of the restaurant. When i told him how delicious the salad was he wouldn't take credit but said it was the whole team. What a delightful and tasty experience. We will be back for sure!!!

We made it out here as our first stop after our flight in to Kalispell, looking for lunch. Unfortunately, we showed up after the food truck had stopped operating there, but before their kitchen was ready. Since we were there, I did get a flight - glad we stuck around! All four beers I had were very good - the Milkshake IPA, Scotch Ale, and Coffee Blonde were excellent. The bartender was friendly, and the prices for the beer were great. There were several more I would have wanted to try, but we needed to find food. I can't rate that, but the beer is worth the stop.

This was our first visit to Casa Mexico and will not be our last! A long travel day and we were hungry! Portions were large. Margaritas were awesome! I had fajita salad which was excellent. The steak was very tender and it was large enough I couldnât finish it. My husband had the supreme burrito which as piping hot, huge and smothered in cheese! Yummy! Staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back!
