This is a good tapas Mexican restaurant that was very expensive. For the most part, this Mexican restaurant Primarily serves tacos unless you are a child. Each taco is ~$5.00 each with no sides. Chips and salsa are extra ($5 per small basket) and if you would like queso dip, that was an additional $7. A very expensive dinner for a family of 7 and we all left still hungry. :(

We love Mex 1 for an evening with friends or the kids. The menu has extensive choices - from appetizers & salads to burgers & tacos. My personal favorite is the pulled pork nachos - Big Mama portion is enough to feed a large table! The margarita list is long as is the tequila selection and all the cocktails are tasty. Jara is the best bartender ever! She's our current personal favorite. Just wish it wasn't so crowded this summer or we'd probably venture out there more!!
