After reading several reviews prior to deciding on Toro as our dinner destination I was rather disappointed. One would think that you were gonna enter at the very least a replica of a Mexican Cantina, not even close. The decor has Mexican vibe but not much more than that. On the upside the restaurant is clean and neat, always a plus.Now to the food. The chips and salsa are average at best with the salsa a bit on the watery side. The refried beans were very bland and the Chili Relleno was most probably the worst I have ever had and I've eaten my fair share in a lot of places around the U.S. and abroad.The only reason I gave Toro a three star rating is that the others in my party when asked about their meals would have rated them a three or four so taking that into consideration I felt this score was fair. Was my experience a one off, who knows. If you want average Mexican fare, give them a world you might have a better experience.

I ordered seafood fajitas and my husband ordered chicken enchilada , our food came out hot, and timely, the chicken wasn't dry and everything was delicious! Only wish they provided a serving utensil for my fajitas. We also never got water. Free dessert after was also very good.

This was my third visit and Iâve had the pork carnitas all three times. The carnitas are fabulous and the price makes me so happy, 3 pork carnitas tacos for $5. My husband tried two other types of tacos and was equally pleased. This is a small family run business with excellent customer service and a clean restaurant. If you like authentic Mexican...this is some of the best in the area.
