There was a bit of a language barrier which made ordering a little more work but it was made up by excellent service and great food. An ole Burger King, they remodeled and the restaurant is clean and well-staffed. Short wait for food. Pancakes and omelette were awesome. Visited on Saturday morning.

I absolutely LOVE going to Qdoba! My favorite thing to get is their chicken burrito. Sometimes I'll get it with queso. Their queso is the best!! Everything is fresh and delicious! If you're watching what you're eating, you can always get the burrito without the tortilla, which is a great option! Also, the chicken is the best! Great value, great food!!

Met some friends for an earlier Saturday evening dinner. Over all the services is goo, the food is consistently good. They appear to have gotten some additional servers. That makes the service more like it used to be. They really were rocking in a little over a year ago then they must have lost a lot of their staff. Service really had not recovered but tonight it was much improved.

Been here a couple dozen times. Recent visits better than first few. Great lunch portions. Love the shrimp fajitas. Salsa and chips get job done. Service has consistently been good. It’s a favorite place to take our large staff for birthday lunches. I am not a huge Mexican fan but I never tire of this place.

Our visit with another couple around 9 pm on a Friday evening was great. We were seated very promptly and our drink order taken. The chips and salsa were then delivered and our orders taken. Each couple shared a dish and had alcoholic drinks. All of which were as ordered. The alcoholic drinks were fairly priced and we all had a good evening.

I thought the food was exceptionally good, the service was average, and the building was very clean and new. The only problem I thought was the price seemed to be too high for what you were getting especially since this area seems over crowded with Mexican cuisine at lower pricing. This could be why the parking lot was not very full at all in the middle of dinner time.

Chili's Grill & Bar

Reviewed By ChiefGuru

A group of six of us were away on a weekend trip. We decided to walk down to Chili's from our hotel, based upon the convenience factor. Chili's first site opened in 1975 in Dallas=, Texas. Thus, the Southwestern theme and motifs that is their signature appearance across the USA as we as 32 different countries around the world. They definitely promote their Tex / Mex flavors in their dining options, from appetizer, through soap & salad to main entrees. We visited at ~6 PM on a Saturday night and found them not busy at all. We asked for and received a table for 6 in the bar area. They are family friendly. So we in fact found that kids too can eat in the bar area as long as they are not seated at the bar. As we were all adults and trying to escape kids for awhile, might have been nice if children were restricted to the "family" side. Our waitress was friendly enough, however, not the speediest server that we have ever experienced. She did get our drink orders, but took three trips to bring everything back to us. We ordered our meals when the drinks arrived. Doubt it is our waitress' fault, but we waited near an hour for our food. Did I mention that they were not busy? We began to wonder if they forgot our food orders or two had an issue making one or more of the entrees and had to start over? At any rate, when the food arrived it was ok. Not terribly hot and nothing to write home about but ok. We had their Ancho Salmon - seared chile-rubbed Atlantic salmon, drizzled with spicy citrus-chile sauce & topped with chopped cilantro & queso fresco. Served with citrus-chile rice & steamed broccoli, which was good. Two servings of Margarita Grilled Chicken - Margarita marinated grilled chicken breast topped with house-made pico de gallo & crispy tortilla strips. Served with citrus-chile rice & black beans - also fine. Black Bean & Veggie Fajitas - asparagus, garlic roasted tomatoes and house-made corn & black bean salsa, drizzled with chile-lime sauce & topped with a black bean patty, crumbled queso fresco and avocado slices - fine. Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas - 3 baked enchiladas filled with seasoned chicken & Monterey Jack cheese. Topped with sour cream sauce, melted 3-cheese blend, chopped cilantro & house-made corn & black bean salsa. Served with citrus-chile rice & black beans. And, Southern Smokehouse Burger (rare) - 4 slices of applewood smoked bacon, melted sharp cheddar cheese, garlic dill pickles, spiced panko onion rings, fresh leaf lettuce, tomato & Chili's Signature sauce. Served with a side of Chili's classic BBQ sauce. I had the latter. It was cooked to medium rare. Although not as rare as I would have preferred, it was an ok burger. The toppings were good and the burger was juicy. Our experience at Chili's was ok. Nothing significant to push it into a bad category or into a good memory category. We would probably opt to try some place else if again in the area, mainly because service was slow and food was not truly great. However, if you are in the area and find Chili's convenient, I will not be the one to say that you should not stop.

Since Dob Pablo's in the Greenwood area closed, my husband and I have been without a decent Mexican restaurant. Got a hankering for it the other day and figured, since we have been driving past this restaurant for years, we would give On The Border a shot. The atmosphere is nice enough, your usual Mexican decor. Staff seemed friendly and our waitress was pleasant. After attempting to eat the free chips and salsa (hubby liked it but it was too spicy for me), we started with the "Border Sampler". This was good and filling enough that had we just been having lunch, this would have been sufficient. Kinda wish we had stopped there! Hubby ordered the "Tres Enchiladas" which he erroneously thought was like Dob Pablo's triple enchiladas. You don't get one of each type, but 3 of the same (bummer). However, the waitress never asked which one he wanted so he got 3 of the beef ones, which ultimately was ok but she knew we were first timers (we told her at the onset) and never pointed out he could choose from beef, chicken, cheese, etc. He chose to skip the beans and got double the mexican style rice. He said everything was good, not really remarkable. I was excited to see they had a California style burrito! Having had one when we visited San Diego I was happy to be able to enjoy one again. The menu described it as "a seared flour tortilla stuffed with fajita steak, melted Jack cheese, crispy seasoned fries, pico de gallo and avocado ranch. Served with fries and refried beans". First, if that tortilla was seared, it needed to be seared some more! It was cold and floppy, and a bit damp. Second; "stuffed" with fajita steak? Really? I guess they have a different definition than I do, since each half (it comes cut in half) had maybe 5 small pieces of beef. Then there's the "crispy seasoned fries". In Cali, these were the BEST part of the burrito! Shoe string fries, just crispy enough to avoid becoming soggy, and thin enough to not take away from the burrito experience. Not so at On The Border! These were pretty much standard size fries, not in the least bit crisp, in fact they were actually a bit under cooked and were sort of hard in the center. They had also gotten soggy from the ranch, etc, because they were never crisped up enough to be able to avoid becoming soggy! I wound up eating about 1/4 of it, and picking the meat out of the rest of that half (the little meat there was) and let my husband take home the other half (that man will eat anything!). Moving on from that yuckiness, the menu said it came with french fries and beans. Since I am not a bean fan, I asked for their white rice (which was quite good) in place of the beans. Well I got rice, but that's it. No fries. Which is probably a good thing, considering how nasty the fries in the burrito were!Topping it all off, we got double charged for the drinks, so had to point that out to the waitress (I also got no water refills, though my husband got his soda refilled). So make sure to check your bill before paying. In closing, I do not recommend this place, unless maybe you just want to grab a quick, small lunch/appetizer type deal. PS We're back on the hunt for a new Mexican place. *sigh*

First time visit to Rositas It was a pleasant experience. Staff was super friendly. Nice to see the staff smiling. The place really began to fill up just after we arrive about 645pm. Service was prompt Maine dishes were nicely present and they were tasty. The only thing I could possibly say could be improved would be the temperature of the dishes. They could have been a lot warmer because they cooled off quickly. Over all a nice place to eat and I’d return again. One question I’ll ask myself when I go to a new place is would you return again? Yes! I added a few pics of what we had for dinner. The Chili Rellenos were quite tasty. The retried beans were delicious! The Tamale we good as well.

It's really too bad they will not improve their -- consistently-- unfriendliness and lack of appreciation for their customers -- because their food is good (traditional, nothing over-the-top special), usually comes out in a timely manner, and the prices are good. Husband and I used to eat here a LOT -- but we have stopped because we're just tired of it. If it was only occasional, it would be fine, but it's on a consistent basis! I wanted a chimi today, so we decided to go there -- same old story!! We were -- once again -- greeted by a familiar and unfriendly person. We were seated quickly, got chips and salsa quickly, and placed our order. Food was a bit slower coming out today -- but not too bad. That was pretty much all we saw of our server. I had to get up and go ask for a refill on my drink -- and we had to ask for our bill. Table behind us hadn't seen their server and had to ask for their bill too (and they had a different server than us). Heaven forbid they would ask if you'd like a drink to go -- and heaven forbid I would ask. A few years ago I made that mistake -- and our server actually got angry because I asked for one! (He was really 'sour' a LOT of the time -- and he has been gone for a while!) Paid our bill -- and left .. without one single person saying 'thank you.' Yes; we go for the food and the price ... but the friendliness (or lack of it) is also part of the experience! Truly, it's their loss. I know we aren't the first to stop eating there because of it -- and 'we' -- their customers -- ARE the reason they have a job ... and a business! Sure; everyone deservers to have a bad day occasionally -- but this is the 'temperature' of this restaurant!
