Located in the back of a Mexican grocery store is where you will find this wonderful little taqueria. My hausband and I started with chips, salsa and guac. I dont know how to describe the chips, but they were not the basic restaurant chip. We would have happily eaten these chips as the whole meal. Lucky we didn't. We both had tacos. The option is for authentic Mexican which has your meat along with onion, cilantro and lime wedges or gringo with the typical expected toppings. Go for the authentic! Price is per taco $2-$2.50 depending on meat choice. You pick your drink up as you walk through the grocery to the back. A very filling lunch for 2 was under $15. Enjoy lunch here, you will be happy you did!

Que Rico: A Spanish language phrase commonly used to describe something absolutely delicious. Que Rico!, formerly Crazy Grill, is locally owned and operated restaurant in the heart of Viewmont. Serving freshly cooked Latin-American and Mexican street food
Nothing crazy about this place, just great food. We had the special of the day chicken with sausage on top with white Mexican cheese, beans and rice. We also had a Cheese Quesadilla with the same sides. The chip and salsa was great, not to hot to our taste buds. We had a bottle coke and ice water. The waitress was really great. It does have some basic Italian and American food but I would get the Mexican food.Thank you for your review Henry, we hope to see you next time!
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant with an authentic feel of fiesta and fun. The wait staff is fast, friendly and professional. The food arrives fast, hot and plentiful. Order anything and be completely satisfied. Did I say the chips and salsa are the best? Definitely!

Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill offers burritos, tacos, nachos, salads, as well as our addictive chips with your choice of salsa, guacamole, or queso. It's all made fresh daily!
Salsarita's is your typical Mexican fast food. The offerings are usually fresh and the service is good. The restaurant offers a bar as well as typical Mexican food offerings. A good and inexpensive place for families with kids. Friendly, clean and not fancy.

We were here for a work visit. We arrived on a late Sunday afternoon. When we visited it was not busy. What we found interesting about this place was the salsa bar. At least that is what we call it. They have a food area where you can go to and dip out whatever type of salsa that you would like to try. That was interesting and enjoyable to us. The food was average Mexican fare. WE found the salsa options to be the most interesting aspect to this eatery. Overall we were not huge fans of this restaurant, but maybe it is us as we note that they are rated fairly highly in the Hickory area.

This town needed a good Mexican restaurant. It is my favorite type of food but in the five years since moving here, the first time I have enjoyed Mexican food here was my recent visit to the newly opened Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant. Salsa is critical. That's just a fact with me. No matter what the food is like, if you don't have good salsa, forget it. Well, I was not disappointed in that department. Both the standard red salsa that comes with the chips as well as the salsa verde we ordered off the menu were fantastic.I ordered a cheese enchilada (excellent), a Chipotle chicken burrito (I personally did not care for it, but that is because I am not a big meat eater and it was very generously stuffed with Chipotle chicken. I'm sure that chicken-eaters would have been quite pleased), and a side of beans with rice, which were great. My friends enjoyed their taco salad and tortilla soup. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. He arranged for my friend's soup to be specially prepared for her dietary needs. She enjoyed talking with someone who speaks her native language and he was very thoughtful in spending the time to discourse with her without neglecting his other customers. This restaurant has some very good daily lunch specials. Depending on the day of the week, it may be "All You Can Eat" tacos and burritos, special prices on certain menu items, or $1.00 tacos, enchiladas, and burritos. We have finally found a Mexican restaurant we can look forward to in our new home town.

It's a typical store-front Mexican restaurant, but with somewhat above average food and conveniently located on US-321. But the service is indifferent at best. I don't believe the server spoke three words to us this last visit. He seems to have taken his cue from the cashier. I suppose we'll be back because it's one of the more convenient places for lunch if you're driving between Hickory and Lenore, and the food is decent. But it won't be with enthusiasm.
