Things to do in Goshen
The restaurant looks neat on the outside and well kept. Once inside you almost have to speak Spanish to order and be seated. We were able to order with the help of an English speaking server, which is necessary before you are seated. The restaurant was clean and the food arrived shortly. We were the only English speakers in the restaurant which leads me to believe it caters to the local Latino population. The food was authentic and tasty. The portions were not large but the prices weren't either. The server was attentive and friendly. Payment for the meal is received back at the counter where we ordered. We weren't completely comfortable but I would go back again sometime for the experience.
This was our first visit here after it being open just a few weeks. There are a few wrinkles that have to be worked out, like the bottleneck at the cashier/order taker. The Men's Room should be cleaned up also as it smelled strongly of urine. It seemed that we waited longer than normal for the food but I chalk that up to the employees being new. The food was good and plentiful, the price was right, and the employees were friendly. I will give it another try in a month or so.
I was working in Goshen (which I'm not that familiar with) and looking for a lunch spot. I got really lucky and found this place. Delicious food, huge portions, great service and reasonable prices.
I have been to this restaurant several times and never had a bad experience or meal. The food is authentic, the service is good and the prices are ok. There is a wide variety on the menu to satisfy most tastes. The place is generally clean and offers a pleasant environment.
We tried this one recently and hit it on a very busy night. Locals were having a meeting so it was tough to get a waitress to stop by our table. Food was OK - nothing special.
We decided to visit because it has recently been renovated and we wanted to check it out. It was 10:30 A.M. so we thought we would have breakfast. You go to the counter to order and the menu is primarily in Spanish. There are a few items for breakfast but you could tell there wasn't an emphasis placed on it. There were a few translations but not many. The server/cashier was somewhat helpful but not a good English translator. There is definitely a language barrier at this establishment. The service was slow although we were the only customers. The place was clean and new appearing with clean rest rooms. We were surprised by the large portions and the good taste of the food. There was no drink choice except for pop out of the cooler in a bottle. They didn't offer coffee for breakfast. While we were there several workmen came in from a nearby work site and they had a lot of take out orders stacked up. I guess the price is right. We had to go back to the counter to pay and they do take credit cards. Give it a try if you have a taste for Mexican food.

We ordered a Tres Leches cake for my daughter's birthday and it was delicious. I asked the woman who took my order to decorate it with flowers however she thought would look nice, and it was beautiful. We'll order from them again.
I've been there several times & the food is always good. They have the usual Mexican dishes & tamales are their specialty. You can easily & fairly inexpensively sample a variety of tamales. I like the cheese & pepper strip, & the pork. They also have a pineapple coconut tamale that is very tasty. The tacos are also excellent. I really like the steamed goat. They don't skimp on the meat either. For dessert they have a fantastic flan. It's worth a trip there just for the flan!

After a long day of shopping at Woodbury Commons, we were looking for a nice warm dinner. Something thatâs not a Chillies or a UNO, this place was a great fine. 15 min drive from the mall, extremely busy, not sure if they take reservations but the 30 min wait was definitely worth it. The Chicken soup was nice, so was their version of the Queso Fondito, served as the Mexican Sausage in their menu. It was delicious but a little more sausage would have taken it to a completely next level, no one would mind paying more for more sausage. The Pork Chop was cooked perfect, the Chicken Entree was great as well. We finished our meal with a Fried Ice Cream which was good. Weâll definitely be back.
