We have two kids at Longwood and have always heard great things about El Patron. From the outside the place looks terrible and rundown. Once you get past the front door the food is really good. Try the Chicken Poncho, it is awesome. I do wish the owners would put a little time to fix the place up, they could do so much more business. I guess they just don't care.

As you approach Farmville from the south, there are the usual chain fast food places. We were pleased to find Moe's in the center of town by the university. Easy parking in front, and a warm welcome ("Welcome to Moe's!") as you arrive. This is the usual southwestern fare, created according to your taste. Much better than typical fast food. A good hot meal for lunch (and the basket of chips for each customer was huge!) The restaurant was clean and bright (although our table was still wet from cleaning up after a previous customer), the rest room (unisex) was clean. Overall, a good experience.
Find your nearby Taco Bell at 1708 S. Main Street in Farmville. We're serving all your favorite menu items, from classic burritos and tacos, to new favorites like the $5 Double Stacked Tacos Box, Crunchwrap Supreme, Fiesta Taco Salad, and Chalupa Supreme.
This is a joint location--Taco Bell and Long John Silver's. Tonight, I was remembering how much I loved going to LOng John's when I was a little girl--so I came here. I ordered chicken planks and shrimp at the drive through--and the chicken was cooked way too long and was barely chewable. The shrimp was burned. The quality has gone down considerably and it woukd just be easier to cook my own shrimp. This place is horrible--I mean seriously--you drop the food in the fryer, hit the timer, and get it out. It isn't hard. Not going back.
