This place has made every good impression you would want. I first went for happy hour which was great food, great prices, and great atmosphere! The staff are entirely welcoming and friendly. The free chips and salsa are fresh and the nachos were delicious. I tried the sangria which was perfect. We returned again and ordered dinner. The cheese enchiladas were amazing and I also enjoyed the shrimp garlic appetizer was clean and delicious. They offer several non-meat options which was good for us but I’m sure the entire menu is great! We are spreading the word on this place and wish them all the best!! Thank you for your five star review Sunnyfunn. We now have happy hour everyday from 3-7 pm. Everything is made at home nice and fresh. Thank you for you review once agian.

We eat here on a regular basis. It's great Tex-Mex food. The salsa and chips are delicious. We also love the margaritas. They make fresh tortillas and the food is good. We have a few favorite dishes: Fajitas, chile rellenos, and Lomo Saltado. All are flavorful and what you'd expect from a traditional Mexican restaurant. The waiters are friendly and fun. We feel well taken care of there. It's good food for a reasonable price. We have also had them cater food for a party of about forty people. They did a wonderful job. On top of that, they have a room in the back that we have reserved multiple times for a big family gatherings. Although we haven't taken advantage of it, there is outdoor seating and people seem to enjoy that- it does border the parking lot but it doesn't seem to bother people. The manager, Ulysses is always checking on tables to make sure that people are satisfied. We always are!

Taqueria el Poblano

Southern California - style Mexican food. Fresh ingredients, fresh-squeezed margaritas voted "BEST" in DC area 2014. Friendly atmosphere and lots of regulars all ages. Popular Sunday bunch -otherwise lunch and dinner.

I ordered the steak platter because it had an assortment of items. I especially enjoyed the onion burritos on the platter and the mound of fresh guacamole. The cheese on the beans wasn't melted in, and that was a little disappointing. I would have enjoyed my meal more if the steak was a little thicker. Others in the group enjoyed their meals of salads, tacos, and salmon. They also praised their margaritas.Chips and salsa were plentiful. Service was attentive and prompt. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well.
