This is what we need in Yuma, Arizona! This supermarket has everything you need, fresh made tortillas, salsas, pastries, bakery, etc, etc! Or if you want fresh seafood, meat dept.,you name it, it has it! The deli has excellent food and plates to choose from and it's own comfortable seating. I wished they were a closer drive, bring a store to Yuma please!

This restaurant feels like you're in someone's home kitchen in Mexico. The food was authentic and delicious. The salsas (both green and red) were AMAZING! The chicken verde enchiladas which came with three smothered enchiladas, beans, and rice. The chicken was flavourful and the verde sauce made the dish perfection. Everyone in our party of 5 was amazed at how tasteful their entrees were.We called the chef out of the kitchen and complimented him. He told us his specialty was breakfast and that we should return one morning before we left the area. He said his plates overflow with the best Mexican food you have ever tasted. We we're fortunate enough to catch him cooking for dinner. With many options to choose from in El Centro, this Mexican hole-in-the-wall is the perfect choice for a quick delicious meal. I would definitely return again and again.

When you visit any community institution like Camacho's Place in El Centro, you can't compare it to the new chain restaurants of today. Very little has changed in the 70 years this place has been open. So when you come looking for great Mexican Food, get ready for great homemade Mexican Food, wonderful service (ok it's slow but the attention we got from owner Rosie Camacho was both warm and very funny), and bring cash - they don't take credit or ATM. I had a combo dinner with cheese enchilada, tostada and beef taco. Everything tastes homemade. Even the beans and rice are wonderful. And of course, we had to try the Special Quesadilla - which was just as I remembered it when I was here last in 1998. So bring your friends and family while this great family run place still exists - for a taste of great Mexican Food and hospitality. Thank you Rosie!!

Was working from the room at the Holiday Inn Express and wandered over to Palmita's Taco Shop. NOTE: The spelling in the TripAdvisor listing is incorrect. The place was busy - so clearly a favorite with the locals. I ordered carnitas and a chili relleno, and both were very good. The relleno came with just some lettuce and tomato instead of drowned in sauce (as you find in many restaurants). Inexpensive, quick and good. Atmosphere is pretty basic, but if you are there for the food (or takeout), it doesn't really matter.
My husband and I came here while I was on business in Calexico. Came here because of the name...my best friend is named Letty.Hubby ordered the chile relleno, his go to, and was pleased with it. I had the Carne asada. Very tasty and a good amount.Chips and salsa were good....ate too many as usual.Quaint and friendly. Would recommend to others.

The food at Jalisicos is really good, authentic and fresh. But overall the best aspect of Jalisicos is their friendly and superb service. This is what keeps my family coming back weekly. Mariachis on Friday night add an authentic flair and even their breakfast are great. Do not miss this local favorite.

Was there on a Monday night by myself during a business trip. There were very few customers, and boy, were others missing out. Both waitresses helped me and chatted, and they made sure my drink and food orders were accurately and quickly filled. The food was delicious and the serving size quite ample. This is authentic homemade stuff, no chain type Tex-Mex.

I went to Sobe's on recommendations from some local business colleagues and the hotel desk person. The place was quite busy when I got there, but my drink order was taken and promptly delivered, and I ordered dinner. Over a half hour later, still no dinner. I got my waitress's attention and asked what was wrong. She said it would be right out and then disappeared for another 10 minutes. At that point, I put on my coat, went to the cashier and offered to pay for my iced tea. The waitress came running up, and told me I didn't have to pay for tea. Sorry, but that kind of delay is completely unacceptable. I can't say whether the food is actually good, but not with such an absurd delay.

La Fonda is authentic! The menu is vast. Staff are very good at interpreting the menu and the ingredients for those not familiar with Mexican food. The staff are amazing and work well as a team. Kudos to Liz, Claudia, Leslie & lvonne. All staff are attentive, smiling and hard-working.Locals frequent here helping me to know it is authentic. The food is very good, favourful and plentiful. The salsa served as you are seated, with homemade tortillas, is very good. Alcoholic drinks including my Margarita was very good.I cannot begin to explain each dish. Everything we had was perfection

Ordered 2 beef tacos which had (without exaggeration) a tablespoon of shredded beef on the bottom of a taco shell then covered with a pile of lettuce and a slight sprinkle of cheese. They had very little flavor. The bean burrito was decent and the rice was flavored with large chunks of onions. The salsa was good with just the right amount of spiciness. Price was fair for the portions. Service was prompt when we arrived, but then no one returned to our table after our food arrived, even to bring our check. They do serve breakfast which I believe you can order at any time.
