We chose this restaurant because of its proximity to our hotel and its positive reviews and high ranking by Trip Advisor. (RUN! Do not believe them!)Upon arrival we expected a wait because the parking was full and things looked busy. However, we were seated by a waiter as the hostess who was chewing gum and staring at her phone didn't seem too interested in us.The decor is very dingy, dated, dirty and worn. My wife was afraid to set her purse down. The waiter seemed to really want us to order quickly and had little patience for our questions. We asked what red sauce is and his answer was "red sauce". My wife wanted a vegetarian meal cooked without oil. The Vegetarian Fajitas arrived swimming in oil with three pieces of steak in amongst the oily vegetables. Several napkins to soak up the oil later made it somewhat edible. I had the steak fajitas and it was tasty. I would definitely order them again when I come by myself without my wife.Must be the only Mexican Restaurant in town to get such a high rating.

Stopped in here for lunch with business associates and had decent service. Salsa was decent and if you ask for the spicy salsa it has a little heat. Tried to order something different than a combo and decided on some chicken in a cream sauce with mushrooms. Only problem was it came chocked full on onions and green peppers. Bummer. Would have been nice to have known that or been better with green chiles. Worth a stop and better than other Mexican options in town.
The staff is very attentive, quick with the chips and everything we needed. The food portions are big enough to share. The cost is also reasonable. And the best for last is we were serenaded at our table by a gentleman. Highly recommend Los Cobos

This place is bad even for a Taco Bell and has the distinction of being the worst fast-food place we've ever been to in America. It's dirty, the restrooms stink like urine and were out of tissue, the employees listless and careless. The person who took my order wasn't wearing a uniform and had food spattered on his clothes. Our order took 20 minutes to prepare even though there were only two people ahead of us in line, and when we finally got our food it had been thrown willy-nilly into the bag and was a jumbled mess. The box my nachos came in was filthy and smeared with muck from the hands of one of the food preparers. We ended up throwing out half our food without eating it. In short, it appears that the owner puts zero thought into running his restaurant.
