We stopped here for the night. The man at the counter Darrell was so helpful. This makes you want to stay at places the staff are happy and competent. The place is clean and comfortable. We try to stay at Comfort inn since they are consistent.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon after hiking Turkey Run. Great service, Combo Nachos flavors and portion size were exceptional. Flavors were distinctly unique to Charro`s..well spiced, not over powering heat and shrimp done to perfection.Next. Charro`s own house margaritas. Gotta try this.Orange based with spices,impossible to described but absolutely perfect. Well worth a visit in the endless sea of Mexican restaurants.

Crawfordsville has many Mexican restaurants, each with their own personalities. This one flies under the radar because the building is an old house and the facade is very non Hispanic. Inside, multiple small rooms for seating. However, the menu is extensive, food is well seasoned and huge portions. We both choose entrees from the Peruvian menu. My husband had a spicy sea food mixture with rice. I had a seasoned beef with fried eggs, mixed rice plantains and beans. I would have liked warmer rice and beans. Definitely going back.
