Casual dining with a chef-driven menu of tacos, tortas, and small plates specializing in Mexican seafood. Our bar offerings include Tequila-centric craft cocktails, tequila flights, margaritas, and beer.
This is a neat little place with lots of outdoor seating. Not a lot of menu choices, but what they do have is interesting. We had the salsa trio, tacos and tortas. The carnitas was super good, and the brisket was even better. For fish lovers, the smoked trout tacos are better than the shrimp ones. Margaritas are on the rocks, not frozen, and they have many tequila and flavor choices. Wait staff was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely eat here again!

Just finished eating here and have to say we are disappointed. I know we shouldnât expect much from Mexican food in Iowa but we heard it was good from nearby hotel desk lady. Enchiladas were small a completely covered with sauce that was just soggy. Good totally average. Iâd say go across the street to another place.

Roja Mexican Grill serves it up Tex-Mex style. Fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, chimichangas and more. All with sizzling smack and an extra helping of Tex flavor. Wash it all down with a Pomegranate Margarita or a tall boy Tecate. Our drink menu boas
This is a bright and cheery restaurant, located on the fringe of the Old Market. They offer a wide range of Southwestern and Tex-Mex cuisine. You start with complimentary chips and salsa. Everything we had was very tasty. I liked the veggie options, while my nephew opted for quesadillas. The portions are large and prices fair. Service is friendly and efficient. Recommended.
