Food, family, fun. Peace. Love. Tacos.
We were driving by looking for a place to eat and decided on Homie Joes. We were pleasantly impressed with the tacos, large burrito, and the kids loved loved the kids tacos! So much better than a fast food place! They were very kind. Small restaurant, but clean and worth it! The carnitas tasted just as great as the ones we get in Mexico!Thank you for stopping by and giving us try.

Open in the late afternoon and evening, this is the best Mexican food in the Grass Valley - Nevada City area. The restaurant is nicely laid out, the food is very good, and the staff are very good. If you are going on the weekend, it behooves you to make a reservation. We recently went on a Monday at 4:45pm with very few customers yet and the host turned on the fireplace for us. I had the Puerco Enchilados and it was exceptional. Please try this restaurant if you are looking for good Mexican food.
