We apparently arrived shortly after they received several monster take-out orders. The wait staff was operating as fast as they could, but only so many orders can be processed through a kitchen at a time. Our traveling trio had chimichanga plater and two quesadillaâs (steak and steak and Mexican sausage). The wait was quite long, but we saw those monster takeout orders picked up and we guessed that was the reason. The food was only adequate when it arrived, and nothing notable. It is obviously a very popular place with the locals as there were people waiting for tables as we left. People were being seated at our table as we were paying at the counter for our meals so that speaks well for the coordination of the bussing staff. It is definitely a popular place for eating in or take-out. So, our experience was probably out of the norm.

We used a restaurant.com certificate for a late lunch when passing through Clayton. I ordered the fish n chips and my husband ordered the maple glazed chicken. Neither of us were impressed. The fish was heavily breaded, the slaw had little flavor, but my chips (fries) were actually very good. My husband also commented that most of his meal lacked flavor. The restaurant appeared clean and our waitress was very nice although not attentive. She and another employee spent most of the time at another table watching a show on the TV screen. Since the meal was discounted with our certificate, we did get our money's worth but would have been even more disappointed had we paid full price. Although we ate most of it, and we didn't leave hungry, this won't be a repeat restaurant for us.

Have been a few times when in town and always good to very good, very friendly service, relaxing atmosphere, reasonable prices. Changed it up last time and had their fajita sandwich and omg, so tasty it gets a rare (5.0), with very good bread and fries for just $6.75

I knew I could count on a Mexican restaurant to offer prompt service. This one was a bit slower but still fast enough. I read the reviews on TA and we decided to stop. We arrived during the lunch time frame so we ordered from the lunch menu. I had one of the special "No. 1-5" can't remember but it had a chile relleno and a beef taco. It was served with refried beans and a guac salad. The size was HUGE. I'm sorry that I can't remember what my husband had from the lunch menu but the photos are below. Service: a tad slow for a Mexican Restaurant. Ambiance: decorated as expected, clean, tableware clean. Drinks: water and lemon. Taste of food: I should have ordered a bit spicier meal but it was good. Chips and salsa are free and generously served. DO IT, if you're looking for decent filling Mexican food.
