Our group of 5, of whom 2 eat here frequently, enjoyed dinner. We ordered two servings of trout, plus chicken enchiladas, scallops, and a classic chicken dish. Itâs nice to join friends at a restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a wide variety of delicious, attractive dishes.

My friend who lives in La Grange suggested we check this place out since neither of us has been there before. The atmosphere was very family friendly, wouldn't really suggest this place for a romantic date night. I personally think the food was a little expensive for what you receive. I ordered the appetizer quesadilla with steak as my dinner, and it was $9.I can't rave about my food, but the coconut margaritas were AMAZING! I would return just for those... the food is nothing worth going out of your way for. Next time I think I'll test out their tacos.
Now this is as authentic as your going to get. Anything closer would only be found in Mexico. This food is sooooo good. We have had tamales, stew, tacos and tortas and all have been really good. The rice water is also amazing. Husband wife and daughter run this place. I would highly recommend to anyone. The prices are outstanding.

Atmosphere, staff and most of all the foodââI found our place to go -I recommend Lalos to one and allThank you, Ronald, for your positive feedback! We are so pleased you enjoyed your meal with us and we hope to have the pleasure of serving you again soon.
We go to Taco Stop frequently for Taco Tuesday ($.94 tacos). The tacos are very good and taste authentic. It is a family owned restaurant and the lady who runs the counter (owner) is very nice. Their steak and chicken tacos are my favorite. We haven't tried anything other than tacos yet, but I am sure it is very good as well. They seem to take pride in their business. Highly recommend (especially for Taco Tuesday!).

Homemade Mexican cuisine
Stopped here for lunch. Ordered a couple steak tacos. They were very good. They have complementary homemade chips and salsa. Those were very good also. The restaurant was very clean and staff was extremely friendly. A must stop at when in the mood for authentic Mexican food.
This is a small restaurant with a large menu and delicious, reasonable food. My husband and I look forward to it once a week. Yes, once a week because they are that good! The tacos and burritos are filled to the max (which is what we always order) and all the other selections are large portions as well. The service is quick and the personnel are super friendly and always smiling. Since I am reviewing this on Friday I can't wait until next week for our visit.

I always love the food here. Ask for handmade tortillas and try the chile rellenos. It's a greasy spoon place but it's so enjoyable... I visit almost every trip. The food is the as good as it was a couple years ago but it's still great.
