My husband and i were pleasantly surprised with Casa Vallarta in Brockton. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the shrimp Caesar salad and the shrimp was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My husband had the eggs and chorizo which he also enjoyed.BTW: in addition to chips and salsa, the restaurant brings a warm bean dip. A nice way to start the meal. This is a definite recommend.
We tried this restaurant after reading a rave review in the Boston Globe. We always enjoy trying new establishments, willing to travel some distance with the intent that if the food was good, distance was not an issue for a repeat visit. Unfortunately, our first experience is probably the last. Have to say that this is not the first Boston Globe review that set expectations that were not met.My wife and I shared a Guacamole Dip starter. The corn chips were quite salted. For entrees, my wife ordered the Mi Casa Enchiladas and I tried the fish tacos. The enchiladas came with a "special house red sauce" which we found quite uninspiring. My tacos had finely chopped fish rather than the typical large fried or grilled pieces. No sign of any cheese but I was okay without. Prices were rather high for the portion sizes. The service was very good considering that there was just one front person.

Tried the new power bowl and it was great! Even brought the laptop in and was able to use an outlet to get some work done.

And Jesse the bartender makes it the best.Weâve followed his progress from the Norwood location to Easton. Since we spend most of our time on-Cape, we miss his Margaritas. The family should put Jesse on the road so all Margaritas- especially the custom Ultimates - are consistently made to his expert standards across both brands.Needless to say, Eastonâs El Mariachiâs has a secret weapon...When in doubt - visit this location!
