Looking for great Mexican food and superb service go to El Patio. They even have a salsa bar where you can choose your own from several varieties. The cheese dip is superb. Their portions are always more than enough. I often find myself bringing home leftovers. Our service was great.

Chili's Grill & Bar

I should have known this place wasn't going to be good when we walked in and couldn't be seated in the dining area because the empty tables hadn't been cleaned yet. So, they seated us at a high-top table in the bar area. My wife ordered the Chicken Enchiladas with Red Beans & Rice. A few minutes later, the waiter came back and said that they were out of Rice. He said she could choose to have more Red Beans or she could upgrade her Side Dish for $1 extra. That amazed me... they were out of Rice and expected her to pay more to get a different Side Dish! I ordered a Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs. My meal came out and it was four ribs - I've never had a half-rack of ribs that small. A whole rack of ribs is typically 10-13 ribs. I ordered Heineken beer. The first bottle was borderline skunked. The service was good but it seemed like the management was lacking. I won't return to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it. Although I have been to other Chili's restaurants and enjoyed them.Hi there, we're sorry to hear you are disappointed with your meal. Casa Mexicana

This place is OK. Not great, but fits the bill. Yes, other reviewers have called the food bland, but really - I'm a salt cautious eater due to high blood pressure and it is sometimes a relief that the food your taking in is not loaded with it. They do have things like habanero-pepper and other hot sauces and salt and pepper on your table, so if you need it, use it! The portion sizes are large, I particularly enjoy the Grande meal - I'm a big dude, so getting full is not a problem. Their enchiladas are good too (sauce is a little different than most places but not bad). Wife usually has a beef chimi and she finished it - Taco Bell is NOT better than this place. We fancy El Patio in Bristol VA, but if you don't feel like driving - this is a good 2nd stop. Prices are fair as well for the portions you receive. Waitstaff is always friendly and provide quick service for us.
