We were at the Comfort Inn and came over for lunch. Great Flavors and definitely not the commercial TexMex that I really can't stand. It's in a quiet neighborhood and the staff was really helpful and friendly as we made our lunch selections. There is seating upstairs and a few tables downstairs near the main entrance. Our selections ranged from burritos, chili rellenos, grilled chicken plate. If you are in South San Francisco and want to get away from all the tourists near the Warf area, go check them out.

I've been to many taquerias in San Francisco and elsewhere and while there are many similarities amongst them, there's something better about La Corneta and I always think that when I eat anywhere else, even when I order the same thing (veg burrito with whole wheat tortilla, whole beans, rice, green salsa, sometimes avocado).La Corneta is my favorite taqueria!

We enjoyed our visit to Gracias Madre in the Mission Area. It became famous as the first Mexican style vegan restaurant. We enjoyed lunch there in particular the entree which was Quesadilla with Cheese and Sweet Potatoes. That was truly delicious!! The place itself was neat and clean with an efficient bunch of waiters. Recommended for vegans and vegetarians touring San Francisco.

We were looking for street tacos. You know like at the Taco Tren in the fields. This was not it. Yes, it was OK and the portions are generous. The service is really good. Just not what we were hoping for

We made a same day reservation ( on a weekday) and I believe this helped our wait. The hostess was very personal and apologetic that we had to wait ( for only 15 minutes)and took drink orders. Just taking in the colorful, mesmerizing and somewhat bizarre decorations was really fun. We had 6 plates for 4 of us ( we were hungry)each delicious and with a unique set of flavors. We also enjoyed 2 desserts. The drinks were all made with a variety of organic and sometimes unusual ingredients but delicious. We were 2 60 yr olds and 2 30 somethings and all enjoyed the vibrant restaurant in the mission district where we were vacationing.

Not much to say. It is a restaurant that serves different kinds of tacos and burritos, and all other Mexican food. Not my favorite cuisine so obviously I am not delighted. However, food is cheap, fresh and tasty. I believe they prepare it according to authentic Mexican recipe instructions. It seems a lot of locals eat there (it is always a good sign). If you like Mexican food, you won't be disappointed. I was not at all.

Real Mexican eatery and store with all Mexican products you can imagine. Crowded, dark, with lack of interior design, looks like unfriendly space. But who cares? The food is awesome and authentic, portions are huge and cheap. I don't need nothing more. My Torta de Milanesa with breaded steak was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Mandatory place for Mexican food enthusiasts.

I was staying the other side of 101 and wanted something close after a long travel day. Melissa's is not a full service restaurant. You order at a counter. They have soda, water and beer in a cooler if you need a beverage. All dishes are ~$10. Seemed to be frequented by locals. Nice people and the food was good.
