We love this place it is cheap and delicious. We even order from here for takeout when we have family dinners with my inlaws lol. We always get tacos and burritos and they are always good. I've also ordered their cheese fries and they were super yummy too. 9/10

I come to this place quite often. I love the atmosphere, the food, and the service. I usually order the #1, or the $5.00 box , and/ or the nachos belle grande. I just like this place all together.

My family always goes there to get a couple of sweets or desserts when we're in the mood or we go get a birthday cake and they never fail to make great sweets. There are a variety of different desserts to choose from. The atmosphere in the Azteca Bakery is pretty calm and welcoming. The only thing I do not like is how it is crammed in to a small corner.

What more perfect food than a Burrito - tons of goodness and spices all wrapped in a portable "sandwich" - or add sauce and make it a plate meal.So, on the search for the best Burrito and the best place to eat, El Torito really comes out high on the list. First - they make several burrito varieties, but for me the Vegetarian Burrito is all important. In all of the Rockford and Belvidere area, I have only found two better burrito's and one is not in a sit-down location and the other is in a relatively higher priced Tex-Mex fusion type place. El Torito provides an excellently prepared vegetarian burrito in a nice, clean, sit-down atmosphere and provides excellent service. The chef / cook personally prepares them and if the restaurant is not too busy, he follows up on his service by ensuring the customers are happy with his food - this is a service normally only available in 4 and 5 star restaurants.I would say it is the best place to eat a Vegetarian Burrito in the area, but they do not serve alcohol, so it becomes a toss-up with places with higher prices and alcohol on the menu. If I could get a Beer here, I would put them at the top of my list.

We tried this place for the first time the other night. They were having a jumbo margarita special for a decent price. Unfortunately, the lime juice in it was too strong and tart for me, but my friend drank both. The only other fault I could find was that they did not heat up the complimentary tortilla chips and the salsa was a bit watery. After that though, dinner was great! My companion and I both ordered a veggie burrito dinner. The burrito was massive and quite tasty. The rice that came with it was about the best I've ever had in a Mexican restaurant. Even my friend who is not much of a rice lover agreed that it was good. I was able to eat the leftovers for both lunch and dinner the next day, and I was looking forward to them! Both our waitress and the hostess we're very pleasant. I would certainly go here again, and also avail myself of their carry-out service.

The food was great and the service was excellent. We had the Chorizo Burrito and the Barbacoa Burrito and they were stuffed with meat and wrapped in a tasty tortilla. The menu is diverse and there were a lot of interesting dishes we thought about ordering.
