Excellent food today and a very reasonable kid's menu. I had a chicken burrito which was very tasty! Quick service too. I would definitely come back.

When you're hungry and ready to eat just about anything you'll just about settle for everything. However, I've heard about Moes and have seen them a time or two near OSU campus. So, when passing through East Peoria, IL and trying to decide where and what to eat, we decided to give Moes a try! They were preparing to close so we weren't quite sure what we would have to choose from. After quickly reviewing the menu we decided to get burrito bowls. Just to throw this out there, this place is similar to Chipotle. I'm sure other people have that if they've walked into these establishments. You have to decide if you want a burrito (bread), burrito bowl (no bread) or a salad. Afterwards, you decide what kind of rice and beans you want, if any! Next you choose a protein if any and then your cheese and veggie toppings. One major difference is, you automatically receive a bag of chips with each order. I'm not sure if they served guacamole since I didn't look for it nor do I eat it. Our bill was about $20 for two bowls. At chipotle it would be about $17 for the same or similar items. Just a side note, I added tofu....bland and all the veggies except for lettuce. It was NOT as flavorful as Chipotle. However, the chips were ok. There were so many, you could make a second meal out of it and create loaded nachos. I wouldn't go back, but...I'm a foodie and a tough critic! Give it a try to see if you agree.
Clean place, wide variety on the menu, with daily specials. They lean towards Italian and Mexican food, but do offer burgers. I got a burger and fries. Burgers are not frozen, but definitely not hand packed either. Loaded with seasonings. Fries were orange because of seasoning. I'm a burger guy, and I didn't even eat half of it. She didn't eat half of her cheeseburger, and only a couple fries. Server was very friendly and offered choices, but when she asked how my burger was and I told her I didn't like it she did not return again. Bill for 2 burgers / fries, 2 sodas, 1 tamale = $25. We will not be back.

We really liked the menu....a drink...appetizer....and meal for $10. The drink refreshing...the chips crispy...and the baconburger tasty. Add to this very good service. A nice lunch!

Five of us tried Tequila's for the first time. The service was good, food abundant and drinks reasonable. I had the Frittata and it was very good. All were happy with their food. Ask about the spice if it bothers you.RRR

Arrived in town on Thursday, and this place offers large margaritas for $5.50 on Thursday's. Upon arrival we were not seated, so we found an empty seat after waiting for a few minutes. We never got chips and salsa. The Margarita was woth $5.50. Ok place to visit for the cheap drinks.
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
Who knew that Taco John's had such a cool special? I was buying lunch for coworkers and this is the placed they picked. I have gone though the drive through here before to grab some nachos for lunch and I have always been pleased with service and the food. Today I went inside due to the size and complexity of the order. The staff was so friendly. The first employee I encountered was scraping gum off the sidewalk with a razor blade. What a gross, thankless job. I thanked her. She was very cheerful and friendly. Entering the restaurant, I first noticed how clean it was. It doesn't have a large dining area but I don't think they need one since I think most people go through the drive through. The staff was welcoming and helpful in getting my order placed. While they were preparing the food I loaded up on goodies from the salsa bar. It was stocked with a couple of hot sauces, pico de gallo, jalapeños and such. I love that I could fill little cups (complete with lids) to take with me. The food was prepared quickly; the slight delay was due to the cooking time required for the potatoes. After sampling one (ok two or three) of those lovely little hash brown rounds I was glad I waited. They were a wonderful little blend of crunchy, greasy, salty bliss. It has been years since I have had any of those potatoes but they never tasted like this. From now on I will request fresh potatoes while I happily and patiently wait. We also ordered crunchy shell tacos and soft shell tacos. I fed a group of 6 adults for around $20 and the group was very happy with their meal.Tip: Leaving the parking lot can be a little challenging due to the proximity of a street light and the quickly moving, congested traffic at the exit. I always exit a bit further down to the east using the strip mall parking lot next door.

We have been there a few times. The restaurant has always been clean and the employees friendly. We have enjoyed the food --we may not be true south of the border experts in food but we have always had good food. We have been there for lunch (it was packed) and for dinner(also packed).Try it and decide for yourself.
