I have drank and dined here several times during this trip to Jax Beach and have been in, and reviewed, this Bar & Restaurant previously. The ambience, food and drinks are excellent, as before. The bar staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly - Ben, Brian and Casey (alphabetical order so as to show no preference) deserve special mention.Great range of starters (quesadillas and wings recommended), entrees, desserts, beers cocktails and shots.¡Salud!

New resturant that opened May 2011. Just south of the pier located at Jacksonville Beach. Ocean front dining.
It is truly a shame to see such a prime piece of real estate being completely wasted by poor service, poor drinks and even worse food. I am so glad that Margaritaville is moving in because it will either make them step up their game and become a real beachside bar or it will put them out of business and allow somebody who knows what they're doing to come in and take over. I do not know how they stay in business.

This restaurant did not live up to the hype surrounding it. Beef chimichangas were bland, rice was non-descript... refried beans were creamy and flavorful. Chicken Chilequiles were ordered without regional scrambled eggs added. Chicken had a nice flavor, texture and moistness.... but the fried tortillas were far too heavily seasoned with an extremely spicy red sauce of some sort. It totally overwhelmed the dish and made it unenjoyable. Margarita was nice. Service was attentive, atmosphere was family-friendly, but we won't return.

We visited for a late lunch 2:30 ish. VERY crowded but we were lucky to be seated in minutes. Service was prompt and very good, delicious margarita, chips and salsa, the white queso was also very good. Lots of different drink and food choices. The $10 taco (as it is named) actually sells for $4.99, very tender filet mignon strips in a flour taco. The cilantro rice I had on the side was great. If you don't want to wait long, this is the time to go, otherwise be prepared...

We enjoyed our meals and service very much. It was a Saturday evening and the place had a good crowd but we were seated quickly and our server arrived soon after we sat down. We started with the Queso with chorizo dip and it was wonderful - warm with great flavor with homemade chips! For dinner, i had the fresh catch which was Corvina - it was delicious. The sauce and the potatoes that accompanied the fish was outstanding. It had a little heat but not enough to overpower the fish. My husband had seafood paella and really enjoyed it. There was plenty of seafood and the flavor was again spicy but not overpowering.
