Located in the heart of AlmerÃa , we have a large terrace in a very welcoming place . Traditional cuisine - MODERN - VEGANA
I looked up vegetarian places in Almeria and this one was one of two, and the best one at that. And yes, there's a handful of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu but those, as well as the meaty/fishy "tapas", are just average. Nothing was burnt or anything like that but at the same time one could easily think of better salmorejos, arepas (an out of the menu dish) and so on. Besides the food if one plans to visit it's advisable to look up the weather cause the tables on the plaza are bigger and less crowded than the three tables inside the premises, where it gets loud as hell.To finish, it might have been just a coincidence but the booking through their web malfunctioned and I was lucky to call the day before our visit to make sure. The call was quite an experience in its own as it took me about 5 minutes to convey all the info (name, time and phone no.) to the person on the other side of the line, and I am a native Spanish speaker.

Last night we went to eat Mexican in La Catrina. We were enchanted by the colourful interior and the friendly waiters. The food was great! The Cochinita Pibil was delicious, filled with juicy meat marinated by Chef César. The Molcajete Chingón was spectacular and Vaiva makes great Margaritas and Ron Popeye.

En este tipo de comida no soy un experto pero es sin duda uno de los mejores restaurantes de este tipo que he visitado. Personal amable, comida abundante, de calidad y con verdura fresca.Sin duda volveremos.

Very handy if you are visiting the cathedral. The food is very good - I can recommend the spicy chicken tacos. Only downside is the cost of wine - stick to beer which is standard price

Cocina californiana en estado puro . Amantes de las burguers elevada a su máxima potencia. Somos vanguardistas de la hamburguesa.
Gave this wonderfully named cafe a visit for lunch. A 'nothing matched' environment of miss matched coloured tables and chairs greeted us as did the two waiter owners. Nice selection of Tex-Mex food litter the menu. We went for a shared nacho platter followed by huge portions of carrot cake and ice cream. Started the liquid refreshment with beer and followed with a local wine, 42 euros.Could have done with more Motown soundtrack and it did have a Jimi Hendrix(?) picture on the wall, but all in all a pleasant afternoon was spent in this non Spanish cafe.

It is a café-bar located in the center of AlmerÃa where, open all day, where breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners are offered. The atmosphere is vintage-bohemian, the cakes (carrot cake, red velvet, guinnes cake, cheesecake, etc.) are homemade and the
Laid back, more student-oriented location for tapas. The pastries looked particularly inviting. Friendly staff.
