Reviews on Mediterranean food in Yerevan, Armenia. Long fought over by warring empires, the city of Yerevan survived centuries of foreign occupation, finally becoming independent with the fall of the Soviet Union. This capital city, a center of Armenian culture, has celebrated its freedom with a flurry of construction and a growing population. Despite this push forward, history survives in Yerevan - The Institute of Ancient Manuscripts houses books dating back to the 9th century, and the ruins of the Erebuni Fortress, built in 782 BC, still stand.

I loved everything about this restaurant. Friendly but not overbearing staff, homely feel and absolutely delicious food. I started with the most stunning goats cheese / beet / nut salad and followed with a pulled pork dish which was cooked to perfection with a side of coleslaw that was the freshest thing of things. After the disappointment of Sherep, this was just the tonic I'd hoped for.

A truly authentic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Yerevan. We only use the freshest local, and the best imported ingredients and we pride ourselves in creating a large selection of delicious Italian dishes.
The most welcoming, friendly and lovely little place. We ate here three times as we needed pasta before and after the Yerevan Marathon. Staff so helpful and very tasty pasta to be had. In the heart of Yerevan with quick service - a place not to be missed.

Well worth a visit for the spectacular views over Yerevan, especially from the terrace. Menu is international rather than strictly Western Armenian, although the local influence is clear and the dishes we sampled were interesting and well prepared and presented. Excellent service.

After reading some reviews about this restaurant we decided to visit for dinner. There is a wine room where you can choose what you would like to drink, either bottle or glas. My husband was eating Peking duck and he was in heaven during the whole meal and then need to be mentioned that we have been in China eating the same.

Everything starts with adzoukh. This is our philosophy. The most basic of cuisines is one prepared on a fire billowing out of adzoukh (charcoal). We are returning to the roots of man by providing the most basic cuisine made to perfection: Western Armenian
After reading the many reviews we choose Adzoukh and indeed all the reviews are true! The food was really good and the host is a lovely gentleman who adds a personal touch. We were well impressed and came again for more delicious food :)

We were walking in Kaskat and decided to have some drinks and small bites. Limone looked very eye catching with their amazing decor. The ambiance was very unique and fantastically decorated. The interior was very chic and modern with vintage touches and the outside was beautiful with the different shapes and colors lanterns. The place was very busy but they were kind enough to accommodate us all, we were 9 people. At first we sat inside and we asked them if they could let us know if an outside table opens up. Lilit was our waitress. She was very friendly and bubbly and very helpful when it came to choosing the food. We started on some drinks and appetizers. Every got different stuff: Moscow mules, gin and tonics, beers, etc. we also ordered a cheese platter along with their small toasts with different toppings. Lilit was very sharp and fast and after 2 or 3 drinks she was keeping with us all and our orders. Hovanness stepped in to help out and even suggested to one of our group members to order the 1.5 liter beer. After a few minutes he arrived with a giant mug of beer. It was the best! Over all our experience here was SO positive, so fun, so memorable we ended up coming back to Limone for more nights after that. Thank you Lilit and Hovanness for the best service and for helping us create the best memories here. And thanks to the whole Limone team for great service, food and drinks. Canât wait to come back :)
