What a great surprize. When we walked in you could smell the real Greek food! My wife had a bowl of Avgolemano (chicken lemon soup). It was simply delicious! She also had a order of dolmadaka (stuffed grape leaves). They were vegetarian, with great rice based filling. They were served with a lemon sauce (lemon, yogurt, and dill). They were also delicious! I had a lunch special. The hummus was flavorful, served with a pita, and lettuce and veggies. The beef swarma was full of marinated beef, vegetables and a yogurt sauce. Also one of the best. Then only failing is that the side selection was not ethnic. I had a choice of french fries, sweet potatoe fries.... I asked for taboule, falafel, or pickled vegetables. No substitutions! I even offered to pay for a substitution! Nope! When I come to a Greek restaurant, I came for ethnic food, including the side dish!

Tried to dine here Saturday evening but it was closed. No sign on door explaining a temporary or permanent closure. Nothing on website indicating it would be closed. Might be out of business? If not, pretty unpredictable hours then.Sorry for the inconvenience, but we moved to a new location at 2630 Billingsley Rd, Columbus, OH 43235. We had signs on the doors and windows, but the new tenant must of taken them down.We moved our business to catering only after we shut down this location, so we didn't go out of business, just that spot. Sorry for the trouble. Our website and phone number are still in transition for the updated information.

My wife and I eat at LaShish a couple times a month. Since my last review, the owners have updated the dining room with new flooring, furniture, and decor. Along one wall, there is a bench with pillows and tables arranged to accommodate couples or larger groups. As for the food: I usually have lamb chops, and theyâre the best!! The order is five nice sized chops seasoned and grilled to perfection. They are served with rice and steamed fresh veggies. The shush kabobs are also excellent â made from filet mignon.Desserts are typical of Mediterranean cuisine including baklava, tiramisu, and cheesecake. We have gotten to know the management, and they are gracious and generous people.

Lavash has excellent Middle Eastern fare. I love their gyro and fry combo, it's delicious, as is their salad. The only downside I have is that it sometimes takes quite awhile - sometimes super-fast, but last time I ate there it was 35 minutes to get my (simple) order. That's too long for lunch.
