My husband & I went to dinner for our anniversary and sat by the window next to the beautiful waterfall. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the Parmesan crusted halibut. Itâs crave-able! There is a train line that runs back there too, but it only passed by once in the 90 minutes we were there. Service was fabulous too!

I felt like I'd hit nirvana when I found an organic pizza option next door to my fitness/health themed hotel (the EVEN). The pizza was made with fresh ingredients and healthy options (including Applegate pepperoni). It's not your typical pizza, so set your expectations, but it was delicious. I also tried the dessert, made with raw ingredients (including chocolate) and no sugar, it was incredible. The owners are a delightful husband and wife team, been there 8 years. They know a lot about healthy food options, and bring that expertise to all of us with this gem of a restaurant. Enjoy it for lunch or dinner, dine in our take out. It's not cheap btw, but well worth the cost!

We had not been to Basso in several years but our return visit was enjoyable. Friendly service, an interesting and price friendly wine selection coupled with chef driven food makes for an enjoyable meal. The special gazpacho was excellent, the tuna and mango starter was an interesting take on tuna tartare and the duck breast had a delicious sauce and was accompanied by seasonal grilled asparagus and a well executed potato au gratin.
