We had the gambas here a huge plate full of lovely fresh prawns for 12euro. The waiter was very helpful.the menu of the day looked amazing for 18 Euros. It was packed with !vocals which is always a good sign. This lovely little fishing village is well worth finding!
la oferta culinaria de villaviciosa es espectacular pues tiene una crne de asturian de los valles exquista tanto que ha sido considerada por la union europea como la raza top de las carnes y aqui la preparan de muerte

Visited after reading positive reviews.Very disappointed. Ok salad and good croquettes but Seafood Paella over cooked with not much edible seafood content. Two decorative crabs on top that looked good but contained virtually no meat. Compared with other meals we have had in the area it was overpriced for what we had. Perhaps we should have stuck to the 'Menu del Dia'.

We speak no Spanish, which is crazy given our preference for 'real' Spain but when faced with our blank faces whilst describing the dish of the day, the waitress had the inspiration to go to the kitchen and retrieve the key ingredient (black clams) then make us write it sown so she would know for other equally useless customers! The clams were in a deeply meaty broth and arrived after a free starter of a melon soup with Jamon. We hadn't a clue what we ordered from the meat section but it was delicious. Charades after taught us that it was beef cheeks and pork loin with soy & honey. Both served with crispy game chips deliciously crisp. Great cooking from modern Spain

Recommended by a close by rural hotel when we asked for a local place to dine. Greeted by a very casual local bar atmosphere outside and being very early (8:30pm) we were uncertain what awaited, but it was worth it. Classic Asturian menu with real cider pouring. The chef came to apologise when one of the dishes was unavailable (fabada). The goat was simply divine, the best I have had and the cachopo was really tasty and fun. We wish we could go back, it was inexpensive, inviting, well cooked, and the service was from the heart. You can't get this in many places. A highlight of a month long food tour of Spain.

Que Cocine Valentina is a gem of a restaurant. Gorgeous views, nice decor, really good value. Not only is Valentina an amazing chef, she is fun, personable, and will help you decide on menu options you are sure to love. We went with our Italian family visiting from out of town, and they loved the atmosphere and food in equal measures. Don't miss out on the burrata!!
