Such a nice change from the standard pilgrim's fare. Small (only 7 tables) and slightly hidden around the corner from the Santiago church and opposite the castle. Have full menu as well as daily specials. Very, tasty and use of lots of fresh local ingredients.

modern restaurant, Spanish cuisine and excellent quality / price.
Very friendly restaurant, I had salmon which wasn't great - I think a poor choice for this part of Spain maybe. My friends enjoyed their meal which was reasonably priced and included wine. A nice cup of coffee was provided at no extra charge and it was overall a good experience.

The bar-restaurant is located in a quaint corner of Villafranca del Bierzo, lovely by all means. The burgers were excellent: great meat perfectly cooked, great taste, no suspicious flavors/aditives. The owners are very nice people, it is encouraging to see entrepreneurs at work. I love this place, and will be back to taste their famous lasagna.

We had an excellent meal here with high quality food typical of the region. Wines served with the meal were enjoyable and also from the region. Service was friendly and helpful.
Top 10 Spanish food in Medina de Pomar, Province of Burgos, Spain

Had dinner here with two friends while hiking the Camino de Santiago. Two of us got our food in a reasonable amount of time, but the third meal did not arrive before two of us had already finished our dinner. Our waiter was more interested in standing around texting on his phone than attending to his customers. Compared to other meals we have had while in Spain, this was a huge disappointment. Perhaps some restaurants don't appreciate the business the Camino travelers bring to the area, expecting they will not return, but lots of communities and restaurants serve tourists and do a fantastic job so I don't understand why this would be an exception. I have enjoyed many great meals and lots of exceptional service while traveling in Spain, but Restaurant Sevilla did not leave me with a positive memory. I hope Restaurant Sevilla treats local customers better than their tourist trade.
