It is more than a pizzaria, it is a fun, modern, well run place to eat, just have a coffee or drink. It has a lovely atmosphere and on top of that the food is good.Very nicely trained staff, well decorated with nice seating indoors and outside.It is good to hear such comments. We try to serve the best possible with the best quality of our dishes. I hope they come back. Thank you

"Mariana" is an old fashioned restaurant located in Afife near the seaside. Two of its most highly recommended dishes are the grilled lobster with mayonnaise and potato chips, as well as the sea bass cooked in algae. Both very delicious! The clams steamed and cooked in garlic sauce are fantastic too, as a starter. We drank the house's white wine and it was quite good. For dessert the "leite creme queimado" (crème brulée) is absolutely a must! Delicious! A great restaurant to try out!

Went there on my birthday with family. With lots of empty tables we were told to wait a second, I was surprised to have to wait 5-10 mins (we had an infant with us) to finally be attended and seated. They gave is menus and I think they forgot about us. After about 10 minutes my husband was able to wave down the waiter so we could place the order. Food came quick. Was mostly ok. They didn't ask us how we wanted out meat cooked. And some of the sauces were store bought. Pretty sure the "tomato sauce" of the parmagganio sauce was francezinha sauce. But at least their menu had some slightly different meal option vs most restaurants. I'd go back to try some other stuff. Wasn't cheap. 2 apps + bread + 3 entrees and house wine was 70⬠thank you, thank you for your visit, we value a lot of their presence, we are always open to receive it always have the best possivel,COME BACK ALWAYS.manages portobello come back always

Very accessible, on the main street leading to the promenade (which is lovely to view at night with excellent colourful lighting). A friendly welcome in an attractive, bright room.Service was very efficiently provided by an excellent waiter who had obvious professional training.The food was lovely but be warned - portions are large. The four of us all made a separate main course order - three portions would have been ample!Now the surprise. On paying the bill we were treated to a free large glass of port each. No great shock there as that is quite common. But, ----- the waiter left the bottle. Sadly we were too well mannered to go for seconds!

This restaurant is situated in the popular Hotel Meira so often full of residents. Nevertheless the choice is good although sadly, although we have eaten fish and meat dishes at many restaurants in Portugal, the fish here was dry and not well presented at all. Hopefully a one off mistake? We stopped by for dinner and were seated outside on the deck. We were warmly greeted and orders were taken quickly, food delivered fresh and delicious. The house bacalao is very flavorful and the portions generous. Service is very friendly and professional, definitely recommended.

Just last week we had the chance to dine at this restaurant and had a good time. The service was friendly and they were able to find us a table quickly enough.From the 5 pizzas we ordered only one was not to our liking. It was just too intense for our taste as it had mozzarella, tomato, salmon, cheese and balsamic vinegar from Modena. The taste was good for a slice, but too strong for a whole pizza.The other pizzas were pretty good. My favorite was the margarita aiming for perfection.Thank you very much for your feedback. I haven't actually eaten at the restaurant, but we have ordered Pizza to take home and they have a huge selection that are made up fresh while you wait. It's nice to sit outside with the ocean view and have a beer or a glass of wine while you wait. The Pizza is always good and fresh and hot. Highly receommend.

Next door to the Albergue. It's dam good. The squid with potatos and vegetables was tops.Excellent service. Staff who appreciate guests.Prices are a little above the average but the quality and value for money is much above the average.I looked around and wished there was two of us because I doubt I could have tucked away meals for two.Fantastic value.

The food was amazingly good we ate: Bife da Fortaleza, Lulas Grelhadas and Posta da Fortaleza. Also, the portions are huge! Most of the 2 people portions are enough for 3 people. The staff was helpful, friendly and playful. The restaurant it self was quite warm even with the fans but it was bearable. Totally recommend going there, most likely the best restaurant in this whole area. Prices are fair also, Bife da Fortaleza was around 10 euros but the amount of food we got was worth the double of it.
