Went there for a family lunch. Asked for grilled sea bass, fish cataplana and monkfish rice. The sea bass was nice, the cataplana needed some more taste on the fish. The big issue was the rice. We asked for monkfish rice and it was delivered seafood rice. Since it takes 30 mins +/- to cook we decided to eat it. The rice was overcooked but the taste was nice.

When you enter this restaurant for the first time one immediately notices that no one really pays attention to you. There are 3 people working inside: the father cooks. the mother serves the food and the son organises the tables, serves the drinks and the food. Don´t hurry, don´t push around for a table. Just relax and wait until you get their attention. You might be asked to check the menu first to see if you like the food. If there's nothing you like, just leave.Be patient and go with the flow. The award is the fantastic food they cook that is mainly pot cooked. Only fresh ingredients cooked after you order, in a homemade fashion.Service might not be the warmest one, at least until you come a second time and they see you like the place and its quirks. From then on you're a friend of the family.Try the chicken cooked in tomato or the prawns stew or even the stuffed squids. They're a real treat.Desserts are composed of local and regional sweets and they're all great.Come early or book in advance.

In some countries, a real nice fresh fish cannot be bought at any price - because no shop offers it. In this restaurant, it is served for a price that is almost ridiculous given the quality and quantity of the food. Fresh tuna steak the size of my foot, nicely prepared with onions to balance its natural dryness! And the swordfish steak of comparable size, a feast my partner is still dreaming about almost a month after our return! Both of these with wine and some starters under 30⬠? I wish we stayed longer in Vila do Bispo!

Big terrace, with shade and beautiful views. Serving food from 12:00pm until 21:00pm. Advice: always good to book your table, gets busy on lunch and dinner time. Try a orly dinner to see the sunset (the mountain in the end of the beach reflects the beauti

We were fleeing from the multitude of tourists from Sagres and found this cozy restaurant in a town with little charm. However it was a success. Fresh fish and exquisite meat at a very reasonable price. The service was lovely. A highly recommended restaurant

Because our appartment is just an easy walking distance away we chose to come here. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and very friendly and laid back staff. Came again second night yet again formidable food! One small thing though maybe some cushions on the chairs outside on the decking?

Me and Becky visit here as Chef Marigil makes gorgeous food whether it is pre-ordered marinaded meats/fish or food cooked to order it is all oh so good. Celia makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in and these two things make you long to come back. It is not a big restaurant so please book in advance and I guarantee you will not be disappointed

Restaurant located in Sagres. Great sea view. Enjoy a good meal on our sea-view terrace. We suggest Costa Vicentina seafood, Grilled Fresh Fish, Fresh Fish Cataplana, Fish Pasta and Monkfish Rice. For dessert enjoy an Almond Pie.
Stopped here for drinks and although the waitress seemed to be by herself and possibly not even open she made us cappuccinos. Very clean and the fish tank at the door is very impressive. Looked at the menu and food seemed reasonable priced. Good location on beach
