The restaurant is located at an altitude of almost 600 metres and the view from the panoramic window back to Ubrique is very nice. This is a large restaurant. The menu is typical of Sierra de Cádiz (no fish).Portion sizes are on the large side and prices are very reasonable. The menu is in both Spanish and English so no worries if your Spanish is not fluent. Waiting staff are friendly. The machine to read cards was not working. No coverage. Not sure if this is a permanent feature or if we were unlucky. Take cash just in cases!Set your expectations on reasonable for food quality and you will not be disappointed. Worth another visit just for the view.Portion sizes
My wife's salad was very big but too salty. My chicken nuggets were really over fried. Prices are reasonable and service is good. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes? On current form will not hurry back.

Luego postre.Los camareros atentos y serviciales.Relación precio / calidad : buena.Recomendable.

I spend two unforgettable hours in this excellent restaurant. The serving was quick and funny too, so it was a nice experience and very good addition to the wonderful nature in Benaocaz! I will come back surely!!!

This is local to us and we come here very often. The food is reasonably priced, very good quality and the service is very quick. This is traditional Andalusian tapas and dishes at its best. Things you must try: grilled artichokes with pumpkin seeds, fried anchovies in lemon, meatballs (I personally like this served with fries and a fried egg), fried fish eggs (amazing and very well done here) and the kidneys in tomato sauce (don't be put off, this is a wonderful dish).

On an apparently slow afternoon, our party of 4 arrived at the end of our three hour hike inJuly only 30 minutes before closing for lunch. They graciously agreed to serve us. We had not seen the reviews but were grateful and then amazed at the wonderful food and unhurried service. We had delicious tapas, cervezas, and wine! A welcome treat at the end of the trail.

Lovely restaurant with helpful staff. Food was excellent, service was quick and efficient. My wife's duck was particularly nice although slightly too rare for her liking. My shish kebab was ok, although the menu said it was hot (spicy) it wasn't. The deserts were delicious but the Nutella desert was just a bit too much and very rich.Look forward to visiting this restaurant again soon.Dear Mr. Sean,First of all thank you so much for write your good opinion about our restaurant, we are happy because you like very much.In one hand, about the Shish Kebab, we haven' t got any information in our Menú about that this one is with hot spicy, we write in our Menú: " Veal Shish kebab with tzatziki sauce ( minced beef with spices and yogurt sauce) , sorry if you think this is with hot spicy. In another hand, about the duck, we are happy because you like, perhaps you feel it was too rare because is not normal duck, is duck breast. We hope we can recived you in the future like you say.Thank you so much,Best Regards,Posada el Parral.

On our driving tour of Andalusia, we stopped for a meal in Ubrique. By accident, we found this wonderful "gastobar" bistro and enjoyed an excellent array of tapas and raciones in the middle of a weekday afternoon. The room has comfortable seating, interesting décor, attentive service, and excellent food. Highly recommended!
