We lucked into Laffa our first night in Tulsa and loved the ambience, the friendly waitstaff and especially the food. The beginning specialty bread with a choice of 3 or 6 dips would be great for a group of friends....3 was enough for my husband and I. The beet dip was my favorite, seconded by the South African hummus. We were too full after the entree to sample the desserts but Chelsea sent us back to the hotel with two delicious cookies....so great. Iâd come here often if I lived nearby.

A mixed bag good and bad. The lobster bisque was tasty and rich. The veal gamberi was the star of the meal. The veal was pounded thin and the shrimp were very good, There could have been 1 or 2 more shrimp which would have made it perfect The alfredo sauce was balanced well and not too cheesy. Now the not so good. The focaccia was just meh, it had almost no flavor and the crust was too soft. The biggest problem with the meal was with the chicken parm which was not like authentic Italian chicken parm. They chargrilled a chicken breast , and did not pound it and then just put sauce and cheese over it. I am afraid the veal and eggplant parmesans are also done this way. I am second generation Italian and there are no true Italians that serve thick unbreaded chicken, eggplant, or veal as "parmesan". Unfortunately the penne were overcooked and not al dente like they should be. What a shame because the crème brulee was a pleasant ending and the staff was excellent. Despite how good the veal and shrimp were and since my family loves parmesan we will have to stick with Mondo's and Villa Ravenna for our Italian food.Show lessThank you for dining with us and your feedback, Jim! Ti Amo is more known for a diverse menu, so not particularly traditional Italian. But we are always happy to accommodate a special order, if you just mention it to your server when ordering. Thanks again, and we hope to see you for a future non-parm dining experience.

My husband and I were in Tulsa for the weekend and decided to stop by LA Roma for the Lebanese options. We both had cabbage rolls and tabbouleh. Both were fine, but not my favorite. My husband loved his cabbage salad, I loved the hummus. The service was friendly and the restaurant is clean. I think next time we would opt for pizza. Everyone else seemed to love their pizza. Overall a good spot.
