After a night of adult beverages, this is a great stop for a late night pita. They are huge. Definitely big enough for two. Pretty standard, nothing exceptional, but yummy if that is what you are looking for. Good value for the money. The spicy had a nice kick to it.

Amtmandens, a cosy café & bar in the heart of Tromsø, offers a great selection of wines and beverages from the northern most brewery, and distillery in the world. You will find something to suit every taste and budget. The food at Amtmandens is as simple
We dropped by Amtmandens for a glass of wine while waiting for dinner time. The athmosphere is really nice, low lights, big window on a bottles wall, comfy couches and many tables. When we saw the menu we thought to pretend an emergency happened and run away, but shame took over and we ordered 2 glasses of well known Italian wines, both good. There's a good choice of wines and they also have a menu for food, serving mainly cheese, salami, ham and other finger food, but we didn't know whom to sell our kidneys to so we stuck to wine only. The Spanish bar tender is a good chat, the lady was struggling with the bottle opener.I know Norwegian prices for alcohol are high, but I think here the wines are overpriced. I recall prices between 10 and 50+ euros per glass (100-500+ NOK).One star less for the high prices and another one for the lack of service at the table, even though the place was nearly empty (or were we too impatience?).But if you love wine and you're rich, it's a very nice place to go!
We went there twice but only for drinks so in a way the review is not complete. But we found the atmosphere lovely, the staff very friendly and its location awesome. We did see the food and it looked great.

We had to wait a while for the food, but it was well worth the wait! The tapas are wonderful, and it's an amazing sharing experience. The atmosphere is also very relaxing. The pricing is probably on par with most Norwegian restaurants, which isn't cheap, but this experience is well worth the price!

In Presis its always summer. Delicious food, cool and relaxed staff and cosy environment. Fun and unpretentious.
We recently went here wanting something a bit different from the traditional food and had an excellent experience. The staff was SO friendly and attentive and each small dish was a unique, but delicious take on tapas. Even the standard salad and mushroom side was finished in a blink. If you are more adventurous, I would also suggest trying the reindeer. Was a bit weary at first, but the plate was delicious given the unique creme fraiche like dip that accompanied the plate.

Spacious and cosy restaurant with rich variety of dishes. We serve many types of pizza, delicious biff and lamb dishes, tunisian cous cous, as well as desserts that won't leave you disappointed! Welcome!
For authentic Italian far from Italy, Cous was a great choice. It is a little further out than the Main Street with restaurants, but worth the short walk. My ravioli was cooked al dente and my husbands carbonara delicious. The staff and super friendly and helpful. This restaurant is intimate and great for a group. Prices were reasonable and the wine list comprehensive.
