In antiquity, Tinos was also known as Ophiussa (from ophis, Greek for snake) and Hydroessa (from hydor, Greek for water). The closest islands are Andros, Delos, and Mykonos. It has a land area of 194.464 square kilometres (75.083 sq mi) and a 2011 census population of 8,636 inhabitants.

The restaurant is on the main street to Dio Horia village and is under a very big plane tree. The view to the the other villages is very nice and the atmosphere under the huge tree is very refreshing. The restaurant offers an excellent traditional cuisine in very good prices. Will be back again.

A bit far from Tinos, in a beautiful authentic greek village with outstanding view, between houses from the 19th century (and even earlier) the coffee bar stands out in its hipster style. Playing english music and serving fresh universal brunch. The food is fresh and good, the coffee was on point but the place it self isnât part of the local view. Recommend to pay a visit and walk through the narrow alleys to enjoy some authenticity. Keep some space for the yogurt delight...

Excellent greek food, propably the best we had in Tinos all times we visited the island. We had pasta and mix grill (piatela kreatikwn). Great location, the decor and enviroment were nice and the staff very kind, helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit Myrtilo again when we return to Tinos.

Wanted a light lunch so ordered a beautiful salad with fresh artichokes, capers, sun dried tomatoes- delicious! Such a lovely setting to enjoy good food in. Very polite, friendly service. All the patrons were raving about their meals. Worth the drive!

Cozy atmosphere, great food and fantastic service!!We had starters, pizza and pasta and each plate was great! From presentation to taste, this is a little gem in tinos offering an alternative to greek cuzine! The food arrived at the right pace making our dinner very enjoyable! Also, the owners have done a remarkable job with the design of the reataurant, so its an overall great experience! The service was also exceptional, giving you a nive feeling of 'filoxenia'! Ask for cocktail suggestions to accompany your handmade meal and you'll have a night to remember!Especially kids friendly - playground right next to the restaurant, but also great atmosphere for couples with nive chill music playing on the background!Overall highly recommended!
