First visit as staying overnight in Tenterden. Great welcome, excellent service and delicious food. Staff very attentive and fantastic food. Would not hesitate to recommend- especially the mixed grill, the swordfish and the rice pudding! We decided it is worth another trip from Leatherhead!

What a wonderful find, a bijou bistro on Tenterden High Street. We had the sharing board, followed by prawn pasta and baby squid risotto which was clearly freshly prepared and delicious. Followed by yummy deconstructed Tiramisu. Finally an authentic Italian. Highly recommend, but do book as was full all night, understandably.

Ambience very pub, wooden tables, paper napkins, quite dark. Food varied, as one expects - great croquetas cheesy & fishy, aubergine slices pleased one of us, lovely tender squid, large crisp whitebait & mayonnaise with hint of garlic. All arrived very fresh & hot. Plenty of other options, but don't count on them all being available every visit - sad to hear they had no tortilla our visit. Crema catalana up to expectations of Hispanophile guest - but cheesecake a bit dense & very cold. Superb bread & olives. Friendly welcome; good value as portions quite generous for tapas.

Our 3rd visit in as many years; this time one could make small criticisms but to do so would be mean -spirited. Even suboptimal, the Tuscan Kitchen remains the outstanding restaurant in Rye. My pasta was perhaps a fraction over-cooked,,,but the sauce and shellfish were lovely. The puds were especially good this time and the service from an incredibly helpful waiter couldnt be bettered. In no other restaurant has extra bread been brought without having to request it,
