It was a real experience to come to this genuine small town fish restaurant in the countryside in Orotava. First we had boiled Octopus arms that our host did cut at the table and flavored with balsamico and oliv oil and a bit of pimiento, so good. With that we had Escaldon de gofio (like a porridge) with Mojo Verde. Really good. Then very tasty fresh fish (Medregal and Picudo) with salad including very mild red onion grown in the neighborhood. Mild as almost an apple! Good wine of the house and finaly we shared a dessert; Frangolo made from gofio and palm syrup. We will for sure be back next time in Tenerife.
Volveremos pronto!

We stopped off to have lunch and found an experience that we had to repeat a few days later for dinner and was not disappointed. Our lunch was served while we were sitting outside and the level of service was fantastic to the point that waiter suggested we stopped ordering different dishes as he felt that we had over ordered, he suggested that we could always order more if required. The food that was served was very nice and as person who only orders salad if required had to concede that this had to be the best that I have ever tasted. The menu appeare not to change but as visitor I feel this is an advantage as they produce fantastic food from a menu that they know well, the fried aubergines hit the spot for me and I have to say that the rice soaked in red peppers took a lot of faith to take the first mouthful but by the end I was looking for more. The down fall was the deserts as there was a limited choice however again the food won over.So if the day is sunny sit outside you don't get forgottenWe are so grateful of hearing such a good comment! We hope to have you at our restaurant the next time you are around. Thank you very much

If take the turn for La Matanza on the autopiste going towards Puert de la Cruz and then take the road to El Sausalito on your right and follow the road it will take you to Los Angeles. Interior of the restaurant is unusual, perhaps unique in its style as they have made a series of small dining areas by using blacks cut from pale lava stone and then I filled with darker lava stonesThis was another great recommendation. We were recommended the ' Pescado a la sal'. This is ordered for two people and is a speciality of the restaurant. We had this with canarian potatoes, the best version of these we found too! It's interesting to see the fish arrive and the waitress prepares this for you at your table. Reasonable prices, friendly and quite quiet in the evening

Very nice environment - cosy and elegant. Classic style. Food really excellent. All dishes I got tasted so good : setas a la plancha ( grilled mushrooms ), chopitos fritos ( fried baby squids ), sopa de berros ( soup of watercress ), chuletillas de cordero ( lamb chops ). Very good also the wine : Ribera del Duero ( Tempranillo ). Perfect and professional service. Los Limoneros is the right place to be if you are looking for something up-market a little bit formal. Unfortunately I found the restaurant a little bit overpriced.

Did wonder if this would be a bit touristy given its location and the amazing views but no, it was lovely. Very elegant dining room, nice and not expensive wines and some fantastic food. Husband who is not a great cheese lover for some reason decided on the local cheese and chutney platter for starters and was in 7th heaven. Would definitely go back there and the fact we could walk to it was even more of an incentive. Views from the terrace are fantastic and the wine museum area was very interesting.

Restaurant located in Tacoronte, kitchen elaborated with the affection of a mother. Great variety of dishes: tostas, montaditos, Iberian, croquettes, salads, freshly made tortillas, broken eggs, vegetables tumbet, steaks, cod and delicious homemade desser
We absolutely loved it! The food is simple, very authentic however with a modern touch, and very tasty and the prices were really ok (we got our bellys full for about 15 euros, including wine for me and beer for my husband, and dessert)The atmosphere is really nice, packed with locals. The menu is only in spanish. We arrive after 9, the restaurant was completely empty and we enjoyed a peaceful start of our dinner; around 10, the locals started to arrive and it became much louder; the atmosphere was different, but nevertheless nice. Usually an empty restaurant is not a good sign, but in Spain, timing is of essence ;)If you are in the area between La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz, i can only recommend.Reservation could be useful especially for bigger groups; there were a lot of tables booked and i think we were quite lucky to get a table.

We ate here twice while on Tenerife and both times everything was great! The food was delicious, service was very good, and it was charmingly decorated. We tried the meat/cheese plate, Canarian meat in sauce, fried chicken breast pieces, croquettes, and their scalloped potatoes. Everything was freshly made, and many of the dishes came with french fries. You could order a 1/2 or whole portion. We loved this place!
