We visited Ristorante Casabella as part of a group and were seated in a formal inside dining room on the parlor floor. Seated at round tables for ten, we were quite comfortable. It was after dark, so the lack of a view on this floor was unimportant. Wait staff here are polished and professional, and know how to serve their clients.I started with antipasti - olives, aged Parmesan cheese, hearth baked bread, and thinly sliced bresaola - a dry cured salted beef that can be quite difficult to find in U.S. My primi was tagliatelle ciacio e pepe, beautifully cooked pasta with a creamy cheesy sauce with black pepper. Simple, elegant, tasty. The highlight of my dinner here. My secondi was roasted lamb thigh with oven toasted potato wedges and seasonal vegetables. Quite good, and just pink in the center. For dolce, we were served twin desserts - tiramisu and ricotta cake. Who knew? Ricotta cake is a favorite, and didn't disappoint.Overall, I loved this restaurant; loved the staff; loved the menu. A fine dinner, only a water taxi away from Stresa. I'll be back. Enjoy!

Chiuso il Mercoledi,
We arrived late so chose Granoduro as one of the closest restaurants to our hotel (it's just outside the main town with all other restaurants). Delicious ravioli and fritto misto, prompt service and good wine. Shame about the mosquitoes! Pizzas looked delicious even though we didn't try them.

The restaurant Belvedere will welcome you in the magical and relaxed atmosphere of the lake: you will enjoy our regional and Italian specialties sitting in the beautiful dining room with lake view or directly in the garden. We pay particular attention to
Everything was perfect from the moment you are being picked up by the boat to when you arrive to a magnificently beautiful restaurant to the point where the food comes. The restaurant room is light, airy and has a stunning view on the lake. The food was the best during our stay in Stresa, and the prices are fair as well. Really recommend this place!

The Restaurant of the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees - Elegant - Gluten free - Reservations welcome.
Lovely dinner on the terrace with view of the lake. Excellent waiters. Wind knocked a wine glass over with small amount of wine. Waiter promptly filled it with prosecco. Lovely pasta. Also a dish with 4 pieces of different lake fish. Prices expensive but worth it. There was a daily 3 course menu for â¬56.

Our first lunch after our arrival at Stresa and we were so glad we went there. The restaurant opened at noon for lunch and we were the first table. We ordered the foie gras, 3 house made fresh pasta dishes and a bottle of wine to share between the two of us. The chef plated all the orders in half before serving us. We really appreciated the efforts and definitely kick up the rating. The food was very good. The service was friendly and thfe food came in a timely manner.

Nice restaurant in the pedestrian area with a small outdoor area heated by lamps. The staff is nice, the food super and well presented. We had vitel tonnee, veal with tuna sauce typical Piedmontese, and gnocchi with pink trout, a very interesting and unusual combination; then we shared Rossini filet and lamb with thyme, both meats really tender and juicy. The chocolate soufflé was excellent too. Portions are middle size, as you expect in a fine restaurant. The price is on the high side. They have wine by the glass or also half bottles. They take credit cards.

Tucked away in little more than an alley means outdoor seats are not that special and aircon inside is very cool! Outstanding food however, so worth a visit. Booking essential

we out a lot, but when on a short break we rarely go back to the same place twice.great first meal.great second meal.the pasta with pears, and the lamb were standout. I would have preferred the lamb a little bit pink. but hey - it was great.it is a long way out of town. it took us 40 mins to walk there (up a steep hill) - but i guess that is what taxi's are for.lovely view. would be worth going for the view.oh and by that way it is great value for money

Wonderful evenings. Great music, great service and wonderful food. The owner is delightful and made good wine choices, wait staff professional and the chef creates amazing food. We went 3 time with the same perfect result. The turbot encased in flour and salt and baked is amazing.

I have been hearing about this place for a few months now so we have decided to test it out. We had family sunday lunch with small birthday celebration. The menu was excellent offering good variety of dishes. Not too many dishes as I get suspicious whether products are fresh. It has offered a diverse choice suitable to all tastes and the products were certainly fresh and carefully selected. The wine choice was also very good (pity I was designated driver but my husband has indulged). The highlight was maialino dish; very tender and juicy. Compliments to the chef.We had three/four course meal at very reasonable price. Superior quality, lovely interior and super nice service. It was our first visit but certainly not the last. We loved it :-)Thank you! Sorry for my bad english but i desire to answer you. I wait you and your family to taste our specialities that change every month and the special menu for the event like next woman's day or Easter or to taste our new Young proposal IL GIROPASTA
