La Casita is a restaurant with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, serving tapas and dishes inspired by the flavours & produce of Spain, Italy and Portugal. When you enter a Mediterranean restaurant you will note the mood is relaxed, colourful and anything
Excellent meal here in Carbis Bay. Great atmosphere & well-attended. Food was delicious. Service was a little slow at times - the Casita is another of those establishments that don't believe in having too many staff (eats away at profits?). Nevertheless, an excellent meal and lots of both Spanish & Italian choices.Thank you for your fantastic review...on the subject of staff..we certainly do not believe in being under staffed..what we do is staff for the amount of bookings we have and a certain amount of walk ins but if the walk ins are numerous then it can sometimes be a little stretched at peak times. The solution to this is for all customers to book a table so the restaurant is ready for you but unfortunately i very much doubt that this will ever happen.Look forward to seeing you again.

Letâs start with the many positives- good efficient staff, prompt service, interesting menu and reasonable prices. Itâs a busy establishment with a delightful outlook over the harbour. All this leads me to say it is a good choice for a pleasant dinner. However, while my partners seafood pasta bake with side salad met her hopes, my crab linguini with fresh chilli was disappointing. The flavour I anticipated was not delivered as the chilli was totally lacking in capsaicin, the active ingredient that makes chilli chilli. The red vegetable in my rather watery pasta was no more than capsicum. With the very good garlic bread and my wifeâs pasta bake scoring well, mine was a substantial let down.I hope the management improve this dish as the establishment deserves it.

Restaurant, wine shop and deli. Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, plus great food and the best wine selection for miles around. Oh, and great coffee too.
We visited this restaurant on Wednesday evening after checking open times on web, however they were closed that evening! We visited again on Friday evening and was greeted with very friendly staff who immediately accommodated us, although excellent service we were disappointed with choices in the menu as apart from seafood and a very spicy option all the pizza weâre vegetarian, we are meat eaters, we had to pay extra to have prosciutto added to a very boring margarita pizza. We purchased a bottle of wine from the store on our way out to enjoy at home which was excellent value. We also returned on Saturday morning for a coffee which was lovely. We would definitely return to purchase wine or have a coffe but would definitely not eat here again.Hello, thanks for your review...I do understand that but we are trying to persuade as many customers as we can to eat less meat. Meat is huge contributor to climate change so as a society we all urgently need to eat less if we are to save our species from likely extinction. There is a meat option available - as you realised. We still think the pizza is good value even when you add the optional meat. We just to make it as easy as possible for customers to choose healthy, low carbon options. Thanks for coming to Scarlet and Iâm pleased you liked the rest of the experience.Kind regardsJon

Down on the sand at Carbis Bay Beach you will find our laid-back Beach Club Restaurant focusing on sun-soaked Mediterranean-style delights such as hand-picked Cornish crab, fresh fish caught locally from St Ives day boats, steaks and homemade wood-fired p
We had previously called here on a sunny day and enjoyed drinks sat outside overlooking the beach. On this visit heavy showers were forecast so we sought shelter inside and enjoyed the view, watching the rain and hail outside. The tea was good and my partner really enjoyed the shortbread biscuits.

I have said it all before and shall continue to do so. Why else would we have wished to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary here. Just the two of us, a bowl of Carbonara and one off Spaghetti Bolognese
