Food was good, had the roast lamb which was a good sized portion and very tasty. However service throughout was poor. Long wait to order mains, didnât bring drinks we ordered (had to chase) and were left waiting after main course. Restaurant wasnât heaving, so surprised at level of service.

Called in here to sample the Greek food on the menu as a group of four. We all enjoyed our food which was very authentic. I personally had the Beef Stifado and it was lovely. Service was excellent with friendly staff. Would highly recommend

Locally well known and popular place. Authentic Turkish cuisine. Lamb Guvec, I had was sumptuous and so tasty. Large portion. Bayleaf rolled starters were superb. Service was excellent and starters as well as main course arrived within 10-15 mins of each other. Our 2 and half year old grandaughter was delighted with Turkish rice and fries! Certainly worth a visit. Booked for 9 people for my little boys birthday. Pre ordered food which was no problem. A lovely warm welcome with a fuss made of my little boy by the lovely lady serving us. Service was swift and very friendly. As the mains came out I realised that I had missed off a main course, this was dealt with without a fuss, with the dish arriving soon after. The food was delicious, everyone really enjoyed it. Really good portions. Everyone commented on the warm cosy atmosphere.. ! Staff brought out my sons birthday cake.. and played happy birthday.. a lovely touch. A really lovely night.. canât fault a thing. Extra bonus of the complimentary Amaretto after the meal. Will be back!

Met family friends there for dinner after travelling from home in Dorset. Great prawns starter, sea bass main and lamb tagine, harissa chicken . Lots of flavour and excellent quality. Wine £11-50 a bottle. Definitely recommended to try. Exceptionally reasonable prices and VFM compared to down south!

Called in without a reservation on a Friday night and, although very busy, we were seated very quickly at an upstairs table. The food is excellent. Weâve been to Spain many times and had tapas regularly but can honestly say that we havenât enjoyed tapas as much as we did at Ora. We had calamari, king prawns in tempura batter, hummus and other dishes and all were delicious - and at a very good price. Well worth a visit. We shall definitely be returning when next in Northumberland.

Me and my partner attend this restaurant about once a month maybe more and everytime the food is brilliant that goes without saying. However today we visited 08/07/19 and the waiting service was terrible 20mins after seated before we were asked for drinks, then another 10mins before ordering food.To top things off the menu said peroni lager £4.40Then it stated beer/lager £3.80 I opted for the cheaper option to be told to only lager available is only the peroni charged at £4.40 unless I wanted Guinness which is not a lager I feel this was a way to force me into the higher price of lager rather than the £3.80Also the happy hour states on a board it runs all night Sunday to Thursday, when a couple asked to use the happy hour they were told it has ended, at this time is wasn't even 18:30 the waiting staff clearly over charging decent customers, who knows if there keeping the over charge or what as normally when we attend the owner is on site, but this day he was not. Very possibly the last time I visit food amazing however the service a scam

Nestled amongst the many restaurants on the popular Ocean Road is the Salash. This was my first visit during restaurant week. We opted for the £7.95 menu. The food is amazing all washed down with efess beer. Lovely atmosphere with great service . Will be back

We had not booked but popped in here on Bank Holiday Sunday. It is a very spacious restaurant. We were shown to a table quickly and provided with menus. Our order was taken promptly and the main arrived equally quickly and all (4) agreed that they were very good. Decided to have a dessert, what a Menu!!!, There must have been nearly 20 to choose from. I changed my mind several time. Then they arrived they too were disgusting (ly) delicious.Great food great service great prices. What more do you want?

We originally booked a table for two and ended up changing it to a table of 5 or more than happy to accommodate.We ate here on a Friday night, the food was of good variety and excellent quality.Would definitely recommend to eat here is looking for a nice Italian meal.
