We ate here because it was conveniently nearby and had a very good dinner for only euro 15.00. This gives excellent value when compared to the a la carte prices.

Our Restaurant is based in local producers and farmers. We follow the seasonal, ecological and fresh vegetables.
We visited this restaurant for lunch today (Thursday 27 Oct 2016) after a recommendation from the lady that we are doing a house sit for. Totally worth visiting both the restaurant and the surrounds. Fascinating place and the Eglaise has the most spectacular piece of art work. The service provided by a local lady from Solsona was first class. She was very friendly and could provide an english version of the menu of the day. The chefs were very friendly and we were even served by one of them with the main dish. The food was just to die for. Every course was just amazing. We both had the Pumpkin and Sweet Potato cream for entree - delicious. I then picked the Pigs cheeks in a sweet and sour with caramelised onions for main course. Just wonderful. Hubby had the tuna and thought it was very tasty. We both had the 3 chocolate dessert. All presented wonderfully. There was the introduction of a catalan wine jug, bread and coffee all included. We even received our jug refilled. Absolutely you need to visit this marvellous place. Bring all your friends here and enjoy the ambience of the area, the views are amazing surrounded by mountains. Thanks to the staff for such a wonderful lunch. Hopefully we can return before we depart for France.

TONY'S PIZZA offers pizzas of different sizes, a letter, a daily half-board of ⬠10, a weekend tasting menu of ⬠25 and a packed lunch.
We went there looking for a good pizza, but finally we chose a 17,5⬠menu. It was a very good choice. First class lunch by a very reasonable prize. The self-made bread impressive. The young men leading the business were the most friendly you can imagine.Tony's is an excellent option if you visit this beautiful town Solsona.Thank you very much!!!

It was a kind of strange experience to have such very Japanese dishes in a restaurant in a remote village where few Japanese nor even foreign tourists visit. It is run by a Japanese family settled down in the town, and they keep Japanese taste to serve local customers (I guess). I had Buta Kakuni, Tsukune, some yasai tempura, and Saikoro Steak, and I liked them all. It was curious that a "steak" itself is not originally Japanese, but the taste obviously told me that even a steak makes me feel as if I were eating in Japan. It was a nice surprise to find, and I think I'll be back for more dishes.

We waited 15 minutes for the menu (there was only 1 couple more!) and right away we were told they had no pasta - it was at the weekend!, then we spent waiting another 25 minutes for a pizza of 30 cm - being sold as Big/Normal size!!!! Incredible! But what they gave us was not what we ordered - they charge you big pizza and you get small one, if you complain the MANAGER (someone like that should not be having this position-he had no manners and apparently never been thought in the area of proper customer service. He said he would not charge us for a small pizza since it is APPROXIMATELLY big pizza (I do belive they have one one size of pizza!)....and that he wont talk to us anymore and he left!!! If I was the owner someone like that would be fired on the spot!). We chose this restaurant based on the reviews but now we know their friends wrote them, the salads are small and you can have those made better at home and gazpacho should be sold as a dessert since it was super sweet! Save your money and time and do not stop here since Solsona is a lovely city and does not deserve this kind of experience after!

We were introduced to this restaurant from a lady that we house sat for. We tried it out on Tuesday 25 October for lunch. Absolutely superb. All three courses were delicious. I had the mushroom soup for entree which was extremely flavoursome, followed by pork chops with a thick creamy mushroom sauce. The dessert was a caramel base with cream on top - very yummy and certainly not a sickly sweet taste which you can get from anything with caramel. Glass of wine, bread and coffees were all included in the price of 13 euros. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and hopefully will get to return before our house sit is finished. Thanks to Sandra and staff for making us so welcome.thank you very much for your comments!!

We have been today for lunch and it has been excellent. The quality of the food and the service is amazing. We have enjoyed with the dishes to share as the cod "cocotxas", calçots (fresh onions) tongue carpaccio, broken eggs with mashed potatoes and truffle, veal stuffed with foie...the red wine was excellent from the priorat region (Viatge al Priorat). The desserts were fantastic !!! Pere (the owner) is an excellent host !!! When we drive to Solsona we come always to this restaurant !!! It is an amazing exeperience !!!

Arrived at opening time for lunch last Friday after visiting Solsona's weekly market. Restaurant filled within minutes! Waited patiently for English speaking waiter to share verbal only menu. Well worth the brief wait as we saw variety of dishes coming from kitchen. Only regret is not tasting more dishes! The crepe had the best flavors I've had in all of Catalunya over the past month of eating in restaurants daily! Pork ribs with sauce were very tasty. LOVED the fig ice cream! Appreciated the friendly service! Allow time to walk around the picturesque setting.
