We jumped in for some finger food before dinner. The place was recommended by our hotel. It was very good!!The prosciutto, salami, formaggi, carpa cio were exellent! Went for the house white and had 2 diifferent red vini. They were very tasty, bodied... "pesante". The owner was very helpful.This is the perfect place for you if you want to have proper wine with great finger food... we bought 2 dozens of wine, olive oil and tasty cheese.It's a must to visit place!!!

A dip in Tuscan cuisine, the real one, made of strong flavors. A lunch totally based on porcini mushrooms. Pici with porcini mushrooms, fillet of chianina beef with porcini mushrooms caps and fried porcini mushrooms. Fresh and high quality ingredients. The fillet with porcini caps is amazing, the beef is divine, porcini mashrooms are excellent. Each dish is prepared with care. Nice ambience of rustic style, good service. Highly recommended.

We visited the place at noon and made a reservation for dinner. It looks like a family-run place. My wife had the aquacorta soup which was very good (vegetables, bread, egg) and I had the bruschetta with garlic and olive oil. For main courses we took pici with tomatoes, olive oil, etc., and tagliatelle with fungi (porcini and other mushrooms). Everything was tasty. There were also locals among the diners. The place is very nicely decorated and our waiter was very kind and helped us selecting our dishes.

I was here with my family (2 kids). We came here early April, late in the evening. Some other (better) rated restaraunts were closed so we came here. It appeared to be an excelent experience. We had gnoci, tortelini, tagliatele with porcini and piza - all fresh and very testy. Cream brule with mint and rosemary was superb. This restaurant deserves better rating. Weâd be back. And not to forget, the staff was very friendly.

Visited Bacco & Cerere with colleagues for lunch and the experience was fantastic! From the first taste of the fresh ricotta appetizer (pictured) to all the fresh pasta dishes we sampled right up to the dessert, this was a fantastic culinary experience. We started with the carpaccio and battuta which was probably overkill on the raw meat but both were delicious. We shared 4 of the primis among the table - all were excellent but perhaps the pasta with wild boar was the best. We tasted a local beer (Iris - pictured) which was better than expected.Seems like Bacco & Cerere is basically a husband & wife duo who do everything to make sure you eat well and feel relaxed. The restaurant has ample outdoor seating on an elevated patio - although Saturnia isnât exactly a bustling metropolis, itâs nice to be removed a bit from the action at street level.Restaurant is located right next to the main parking lot just as you arrive in Saturnia so you canât miss it. Evidently, thereâs also a wine store at the ground level which Iâm told has a great selection.

La Grotta is the nearest restaurant and pizzeria to our holiday home near Roccalbegna, so we do visit it often. We went three times this trip in both May and June. We always have a pizza and they are always great. When we first started going, ten years ago, it was never busy, now it is wise to book. This is, for us, a good sign, as it means the Roccalbegna area is thriving now with both locals visiting and tourists. La Grotta is not just a pizzeria but a trattoria too and Lucia is a fine chef and has transformed the place. If you go please leave room for her wonderful desserts too. See you again soon Lucia e grazie mille. Denzil grazieeee!!! Sei sempre molto carino e gentile,come tua moglie,mi fa piacere che apprezziate il nostro locale e la nostra cucina,ti ringrazio per le gentili parole e ti saluto con simpatia e a presto spero!! ;O)

Great restaurant set in a quaint village we came across on the way back to pienza from saturnia. The manager and chef were very friendly, good honest people, the house wine was delicious, the tiramisu and pannacotta to die for and just 3 euros! The mushroom and ham pizza was so good we had to order another one! Definitely no tourist trap!Thank you so much for your review. We chose for our costumers a short menu in order to provide an high food's quality.
