Been going to this restaurant for 9 years; Michele, the owner and operator is there every night. His staff, is the most friendly and professional we have encountered in the 12 years we have traveled throughout Italy. It is the only restaurant that serves, cozze al griglia, a taste treat you will never forget. The pizza by Roberta is the ultimate. If there was a 6 star rating, I would give it that. Today I have had an amazing dinner here in this lovely place on the hill of Acquavena near the Palinuro coast. I live in England but I come from Napoli - Italy and when I go back to my native town for holiday I like to return in my favourite places not far from Napoli. In summer time I love to go to the Cilento coast and in particular in Palinuro. In this area my favourite restaurant is U Trappitu: here you can eat an excellent meat that rarely you find in other places of the world. I strongly recommend to eat "Grigliata mista" which is a mix of different type of grilled meat. Here you can also eat a delicious cake named "Ricotta e cioccolato" which is made whith ricotta cheese and chocolate.
8. Albilu
Umbrellas, sunbeds, boat mooring, snacks and bites, live music. You will find all this at Albilú. Albilú is a family-run bathhouse where you can find a team that will try to make you feel comfortable!

We stopped here on the way to Lecce from Naples in the middle of October. Although the waitresses were wonderful (speaking fluent German, English, and some French), the food was atrocious. We started with the octopus (which was ok) and also ordered the meat tray with a pork chop, veal chop, and sausage.We can only guess that the chef was not present, because what came back was a burned pork chop, extremely rare veal chop, and partially cooked sausage. None of it was edible. We would have sent it back and asked not to pay for it, but we just wanted to get out, so we paid and left.

Ho comprato della carne da cucinare e le attese non sono state disilluse! Superba la chianina taglio Fiorentina, come anche le bistecche sempre di chianina (ma senza osso). Una brace non è tale senza il âporcoâ, quindi salsicce e pancetta anche queste di ottimo livello. Poi sotto consiglio del âchianchiereâ abbiamo chiosato con un poâ di agnello locale. La tentazione di assaggiare anche i tanti piatti pronti era tanta, ma poi ci siamo limitati ad un vassoio di peperoncini verdi di accompagnamento alla carne. Beh che dire. Tutto ottimo. Poi la passione e la cortesia hanno fatto il resto. Sui prezzi siamo in linea con quelli di altre macellerie in una località di mare ad agosto. CONSILGIATO

Quando vengo a Policastro la metà fissa per godere del mare Cilentano è Marajo. L'ambiente è davvero familiare ed è ideale per i bambini che possono scorrazzare liberi dalle insidie in un ambiente sicuro e controllato. inoltre c'è anche un ottima animazione dedicata non solo a loro. La spiaggia è ben curata come tutto il resto dai servizi igienici alle varie isole per il relax. Non si lesinano sorrisi e su tutto c'è l'occhio attento della titolare che è un tipetto sveglio e sa condurre i suoi collaboratori come un orchestra ben intonata. Consigliato!!!

Had dinner at this cozy restaurant! Ristorante Moses offers a wide range of fresh fish (which was fished on the same day!)! Together with a fantastic kitchen-work the customer is able to taste a delicious fish and enjoy the view with a nice bottle of wine. Nicole, the restaurant owner, is very kind and helped us when we ordered with good advices. Can highly recommend this restaurant and will definetly come back!

The most beautiful view above the Cilentana Coast nearby the Golfo of Policastro. The food is fantastic and everything is produced at the Agriturismo. Brilliant hosts and great service! Umberto and Pasquale make you feel very welcome. They truly were fantastic. You can take excellent walks directly from the Agriturismo or from San Giovanni a Piro, that let you reach the beautiful Coast. I would recommend to anyone!

Great food by Fabrizzo, a fantastic Chef and personal service from Guiseppi. This restaurant will be a great hit with the locals and tourists. When in Scario drop in for lunch or dinner. I bet you will love it.
