Leo cooks the best Mediterranean dishes on San Salvador. Great taste and superb flavors in his dishes. Extremely recommended visit. Has a belly dancing show each wednesday. A must while in San Salvador.

I was an avid visitor however I'm afraid tinto has suffered a severe decline in its quality. The amount and quality of their cheese meats and mushroom appetizer, which was a signature dish has become extremely lacking both in taste and the quantity of its components, whilst it's prices have remained the same. Their panini's have also suffered a similar decline, and in addition their accompanying potatoes were running out ; they could only serve that option for one dish. They also didn't include the signature sauce which we had to request additionally. Their wine selection from their menu is very limited as they only have a few of the ones on the menu. And to top it off they were not accepting American Express (something they have always accepted) but did not advertise nor warned us ahead of time. The decor locale and view are still very nice, however I must say it is very sad they have suffered this decline as they used to be a top notch choice to go in the area Estimado, que pena por lo que tuvo que pasar, estamos realmente apenados y definitivamente tomaremos cartas en el asunto. Vamos a resolver la calidad y cantidades que menciona y también los faltantes. Con la tarjeta se tuvo problema con el equipo pero ya se solvento, sin embargo era deber de ellos en avisar antes. Definitivamente haremos que nada de esto vuelva a pasar. Esperamos nos vuelva a visitar y se lleve otra impresión de como tiene que ser. Queremos ofrecerle una cortesía por tan penosa velada que pasaron, puede identificarse como miembro de Trip Advisor y dar su nombre para atenderlos de la mejor manera y sobre todo tomaremos en cuenta cada una de las cosas mencionadas para que no vuelva a suceder con nadie. For my birthday, my Mom and one of her friends decided on taking me to A Fuego Lento. I had never heard of the place, but I decided to let them take me to discover a new spot on the map. And, boy, this was a pleasant surprise. The signature dish is Paella Valenciana, a Spanish delicacy, and let me tell you it is good (not excellent, but good). My choice was Paella Mixta (rice with seafood and pork and chicken meat, among other ingredients) and it was the right one. Value is excellent when you take into account that for $9.95 you get an entree (salad), the main dish (a regular-to-big Paella), and a small dessert (a small piece of vainilla ice cream). In addition, my drink choice was a "fresco de ensalada" (juice with a variety of chopped fruits). The place was clean, we got exactly what we ordered, service speed was incredibly fast (the food was ready in less than 10 minutes). The only sour spot is the atmosphere: in a Spanish-food restaurant, you expect a Spaniard-type decoration plus music from the peninsula. We found none of these: the house where the restaurant is located is very plain and the music playing was standard American pop fare, plus an interlude of live marimba music. All in all, a surprising place where I would visit again to savor the Paella once more.

We live very close to Delikat in San B and really love the brunch menu but the last few times we have waited more than 45 minutes to be served. Last week the place was NOT too busy, with many empty tables yet we sat, and sat, and finally got a couple of the beverages, (not all of them at one time? Had to wait more for the rest) and then after 45 minutes (or more) the food came. We were famished! We love the atmosphere and they do have great pizza too, but we will hesitate to return for awhile because of this. :(Dear Travelingnomad16Thank you for sharing your opinion on the TripA. I am terribly sorry for your bad experience during that brunch. As you may know, we prepare everything from scratch and it takes time. Even more when the place is quite busy. Super fiendly Cesar at the pizza restaurant takes great pride in the food he prepares. He has an art of making every pizza to perfection. Well located, at the heart of San Benito neighbourhood, San Salvador, the "La Gastroteca" restaurant was a very nice surprise: small restaurant, part of Clarion Suites, in front of a very busy boulevard, offering a nice terrace and cosy interior.The best of it, its amazing food. It has an International menu based on creative and delicious dishes with elegant presentation. Though a bit pricey, it's worth it.Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience at our establishment. Went with colleagues for dinner. Ordered the steak in red wine sauce. Steak was cooked to order and accompanied by vegetables. Live music was playing at the entrance. Great ambiance. The spicy sauce for the bread was really good! Drizzled olive oil on your plate and add the spicy sauce then soak it up with the bread, muy delicioso!
